Good game. Dublin should win the replay. Since only a handful of players had a good game today there is a lot of room for improvement. Small Kilkenny and Andrews were good. That was it. If it has intent it's red, if it doesn't it's yellow and if people want to make another category then the only sensible alternative is to have a sin bin. Mayo were much the better team but left the game behind them. Small and Fenton were the only Dublin players to win their own particular match-ups. Aidan O'Sea was disappointing although he got nothing from the ref. The Dubs seemed a bit like us in the 2014 final, I think their heads were at the celebration tonight,Mayo just put them back on their heels from the start, 2 lucky goals kept them in it, have to say I did not see that coming, the conditions, state of mind etc just left the Dubs at 6's and 7's. expect a great game of football in the replay but I think Mayo have missed their chance. McCarthy took out a player who was moving to tackle the Dub player with the ball - a clear black card. Connolley and McAuley should also have been black carded in the first half and Mayo should have had one in the second half.
