Im not so sure about that. The quarter final the dubs played in last year didn't sell out.

Yeah because the opposition wasn't as strong a team on paper.
Dublin v Donegal have history over last 5 years

So the Dubs only show up when they are playing a strong team?

No the latcher oners only show up for bigger games like every county has. we had an average of 25 thousand at league games the last 5 years, you then have another amount that goes to all championship games only and then you have the last 10 thousand or so that only show up for big games.
They exist in every county

So why should the hill be Dublin only?

What are you talking about now you jump from Billy to Jack
A large majority of Dublin hard-core support who go all year go to hill16
The other counties don't use the option even when not playing Dublin
hence why it makes sense if Dublin are in finals to give them more of the hill tickets and the opposition more of the canal end tickets as They rather sitting

I thought you were suggesting that the better Dublin support deserved the hill tickets. As far as I'm concerned it should be 50/50

Why ???
When the other counties rather stand tickets why would you take from their stand allocation to give them hill tickets?

The lack of fan segregation is one of the truly special things about the GAA and something which puts it streets ahead of soccer.

Trust the dubs to anglicise our beloved game. .

If anybody is doing that then it would have to be the other counties as they won't go to the hill all year round when playing Dublin

Bud, if you think the Dubs or anyone else is anglicising the GAA you really haven't watched much live soccer in England or Scotland!

Ye smart Alec dubs don't need to worry about hill 16 tickets for the final. Kerry will not lose this Sunday. I've not got a prediction wrong in 5 years.

Kerry for a third final in a row..not bad for a team the dubs are writing off on here. Kerry by 6+

If they had finished the stadium properly and built the stand all around this wouldn't be an issue. As for cheap tickets. Its the All Ireland final FFS. €80 is positively bargain basement.

Which stand would Dublin fans prefer? I'd imagine that the cup presentation could be better viewed from other locations. Just saying like.....

How do you figure that??

My post was in response to the posts claiming that the hill should be Dublin only - i.e. segregating fans. I feel all areas of the stadium should contain a mix of both sets of supporters (or 4 or 6 sets depending on double headers/minor games, etc.)

How would that have anything to do with how much live English or Scottish soccer I have watched?
