Most counties in the football championship only play two games anyway...

Talking about scrapping the league is delusional. Club players could play more games in summer with better management by county boards and players from clubs willing to stand up for themselves.
Counties should be playing more than 2 games in championship anyway.

Gaelic grounds limerick and thurles have soul and colour and fantastic surfaces ,will have new pairc ui chaoimh soon , stands in gaelic grounds are green and terraces more white than grey, stands in thurles are blue and blue and gold - The new stand (the older structure) is blue and the old stand (newer structure) is blue and yellow - -- or have i got the stands mixed up !!!!!!

Colour of seats is irrelevant to calling a venue soulless colourless."
I dont see how its delusional, counties can play the Winter leagues (McGrath Cup, O'Byrne Cup etc.) to get ready for the championship which I would have starting earlier in league format.
How do you suggest club players stand up for themselves?"
League format would make scheduling better.

Might not be practical for GAA. Once players are out of the running for glory are they going to be arsed sticking around to play when they could go back to their clubs or go off to the states.

Current league should get more prominence, played later, be part of the AI. Provincial championships should be played off in 7 weeks.

AI finals in both codes on the Aug bank holiday weekend.

To be honest its more the scheduling thing that I'd be looking at and the league more system would be better for that. Then club championships can have a proper schedule too.

wish no.1 For kickouts in football to have to go over the 45 metre line and in hurling over the halfway line...will give the advantage to natural ball winners be it breaking ball or clean catches and in my opinion make the game more pleasant to watch

wish no.2 i know everybody wants more games and more structure to the intercounty championship which is fair enough even i would want that in a sense..but my wish is to return to straight knockout championship..lose one you're out no backdoor..be it keep the provincials and winners of each go into semi finals or start with 32 teams unseeded draw in football..hurling run as winner of leinster and munster contest all ireland...i know this completly would streamline the intercounty championship but thats fine by me personally as waiting months for a club championshi games is feckin frustrating and would nearly drive you to give up altogether

wish 3. all club championships have county finals at the latest..october 1st as the weather from then on can be a major hindrance

Scrapping the league is delusional. The winter leagues are warm ups and pre season friendlies. Having a championship with a league basis in some form is needed but that needs to be 8 groups of 4 with 3 games each with provincial cups also held - straight knock out and no replays - and then league before it that has no finals. So that would be 3 weekends for all Ireland championship group stage. another 3 weekends for all Ireland cup knockouts. 3/4 weekends for provincial cups and then 7 weekends for league without any finals. that is 17-18 weeks. you could add to it with more qualifiers to help deal with how to fix the issues you would get with teams qualifying for knockout stages from both all Ireland group stage and provincial championship but that's still only an extra weekend or two. That gives more games for all counties. More time for clubs and club championships and more time for a proper off season for all players

All kickouts and puckouts shouldn't have to go out so far. Teams should be allowed to have a short puck out/kickout system or be allowed take quicker/shorter kick/puck outs if they want to.
Straight knockout will never happen as GAA will lose too much money and lose people to other sports
