They should have leased it out for cattle grazing to keep it looking better.... :-)

Possibly not. I would imagine that within days loads of prime meat cuts would be on offer in the immediate vicinity.

wait till Gary from Derry finds out someone has opened this pointless Casement debate again.

20 pages of recycled righteousness on its way!

Casement is lying in rot because the last county board had a habit of acting first and thinking last.

ive nothing more to say on the great depression that is the current Casement saga. hopefully changes will happen but in the meantime, this debate is as cold as a swim in Lough Neagh.

Its a pity to see casement in such a state but I am definitely one that thinks the longer it takes the better.
Clones is the home of Ulster GAA. It is where as a kid I wanted to play.

The site of Ulster semi final/Final day in clones is an unreal thing to witness and gives me goosebumps every year.
It will be a long time before casement park will have that feel. In fact it probably wont in my lifetime.

Couple that with the fact that now I will have to travel twice the distance to get there and I am not happy.

Its great for Belfast and Antrim football but not for Ulster. It will happen eventually and I think most have come to accept it but it doesnt mean we will be happy.

Clones is the home of Ulster football, not GAA, but the way the Ulster Council behave its much of a muchness to them.

Casement will be a multifunctional stadium, not just GAA and its hard to see One Direction or Adele holding a concert in Clones, Nathan Carter might, but no serious acts that could fill a 38K stadium during the quieter months.

There is no doubt it has had an effect on gaelic games in antrim as illustrated on Saturday.

There is an apathy, certainly in Belfast anyway, that will be hard to shake off
