Replying To royaldunne:  "So Tyrone weren't sledging? Typical of you been from Tyrone playing the man not the ball.
So rather than your personal digs at me, answer were Tyrone sledging????"
Are you trying to suggest Mayo weren't either? Jim summed it up at half time, it happens in every sport.

As a general rule ive always found mayo to be the best fans in ireland and considering the travel involved from parts of the county they follow their team in spectacular numbers league and championship

Replying To browncows:  "You obviously know little about the game just like some of your supporters. The Ref was very fair and got most if not all the key decisions correct which is unusual for Refs these days. Most of Mayo supporters do not boo when every Ref decisions is not for them. There are indeed followings in most counties who expect every decision to be for their team."
* in your opinion..

Personally i think each of the decisions i highlighted were incorrect, and pretty obviously at that. We will have to agree to differ

So you can lip read Tyrone players and not Mayo players - both were having verbals and that's part of the game - you obviously never heard the stories of the late great Paudi Oshea and Ciaran Duff. You are apparently either via naive or have never played the game - I suggest both and won't waste another post on your pathetic and ignorant anti Tyrone rantings..

You're having a quare oul time today royaldunne,sticking the boot well in to Tyrone fans on here. Good man yerself. You're easy pleased as they say. Next year we'll take up residence in div 1 again where we belong and we are champions of our province. We've a better chance at achieving something next season than your county.

I copped that myself but was in the Davin with the family and thought it was maybe mainly children in that section however it seemed endemic throughout the Mayo sections. To say it was only at refs decisions isn't correct jeering/cheering Tyrone wides (probably hoarse this evening). It was from the start, nothing to do with frustration

TheMaster (Mayo)- Also in the Ref's opinion which is more important and informed than you or I.

Replying To royaldunne:  "Id be more worried about the sledging by Tyrone players, mayo are reacting , and while I wouldn't be his biggest fan, and he also partakes , but the treatment of Aidan ose in this game has been shocking."
Ah look poor Royaldunne at it again . I sincerely pity you son . I suppose you have little going

We need atmosphere at games. I don't honestly care if Mayo boo, they are creating noise and its why we go to games, to experience atmosphere. Dublin fans and Mayo fans and possibly Donegal are the only fans that I feel bring a bit of atmosphere to games

I think royal pain in the ar4e and a few Down fans (not all Down fans and we all know who they are) have it in for you guys - they are prolific posters on anything Ulster and particular Tyrone. I feel you left that one behind - you really need to sort your free taking out and I also believe I would put big McNulty on the square with the nippy small forwards you have - bar that you're not far off.

The dubs are all descended from mayo people you mean. Might explain why Dublin are so good at the booing and jeering.

This thread is a complete nonsense. I was at the Fermanagh game and yes Mayo fans were booing some of the referee decisions in that game. However killian o connor was denied a clear penalty that should have been awarded. I always see other counties fans letting their dissatisfaction be known with the referee during gamea, that is normal. Personally I think this thread was started by a bitter Fermanagh supporter who is still blaming AOS's dive for them being out of the championship even though they lost by 6 points!

This sledging talk is nonsense. How can any supporter hear what any player says to another. It's absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!! There was a lot of tension out there and players get into verbals. Look at goalkeepers roaring "post" and "wide" when a player takes a free......is that sledging? Happens in every game but not a word said.
