I can't believe I'm agreeing with you either clondalkin but you 100% right, bjk is a decent club player but I wouldn't say he's one of the top ten forwards in Kerry. Like someone else mentioned he's a great man to come on and score when the game is over. Also have to agree with hermit there are better U21 forwards that should be given the chance. Kevin McManamon is great off the bench, I will never forgive him for the damage he did to us a couple of times from that position. If Kerry meet the Dubs at the end of August I hope he is starting the game, guaranteed he will do SFA. GeniusGerry (Kerry) - Posts: 2105 - 04/08/2016 12:52:04 1895393 Link 0 |

KEVIN McMANAMON - Best sub by some distance in term of impact, strong, direct and intelligent. He is always capable of getting key scores Curlew66 (Roscommon) - Posts: 506 - 04/08/2016 13:46:26 1895467 Link 1 |
Yeah, Jody did the business on many occasion. especially against Kildare

Mc's 2011 impact was incredible, pulled a semifinal from the fire and then pulled the final from the fire, should have been POTY BlastCalyle (Mayo) - Posts: 206 - 04/08/2016 14:20:47 1895532 Link 2 |
You should put in the proviso outside of Dublin as they would have the best 10-15 substitute players in Ireland. KYTitletown (Kerry) - Posts: 816 - 04/08/2016 14:37:16 1895552 Link 1 |
You're consistent, I'll give you that.

BJK would be starter in any other county. His father will be next kerry manager. Might get a look in then Mullerm (Cork) - Posts: 87 - 04/08/2016 17:41:27 1895771 Link 0 |
Bjk wouldnt get near our squad. He is defo not a "kerry quality" forward Liamwalkinstown (Dublin) - Posts: 8166 - 04/08/2016 19:50:04 1895846 Link 0 |
100% agree with post on BJK. Was at game and Kerry supporters beside us were not impressed. Huge respect for KMcM. Must grate on him at times that he doesn't make starting team. Never lets it effect him, but most importantly never lets it effect the team. Probably Gavin's biggest attribute is his man management skills in such situations. Bjk wouldnt get near our squad. Yes consistently honest, lets look at what Liam said and I agree totally. So which Kerry sub would get in the Dublin bench. In fact, how many Kerry players would make the Dublin XV and panel? No more than 3 or 4 on the panel which highlights the size of the enormous task we face on Aug 28 KYTitletown (Kerry) - Posts: 816 - 04/08/2016 22:10:50 1895920 Link 0 |
