His father is a Tyrone man that's why he's dirty :-) in all seriousness it's not just Donaghey that gets away with murder - but you're right he's at it every game - it's almost that his awkwardness gives him the fools pardon.

i have to say it was a definite strike and he should have walked. fair enough if the ref didn't see it but id expect a retrospective ban after that. but sure all you have to do is appeal one of those and he'll be back for the semi!

He doesn't play for Dublin or Tyrone Liam. If he did he would be public enemy number 1!

How do Dublin players get away with biting eye gouging and spitting grabbing lads in headlocks and pulling them to the ground?
And I'm not sour just asking is all.

Dubs a bit lucky in last year's All Ireland final. But as soon as Donaghy ran on pitch last year he pulled Dub player to ground!
A clear foul- and no action. Maybe Kerry should have had a peno also but it seems like one rule for the "dirty Kerry lads" and another for everyone else. Dublin are only team that can stand up to the Kerry bully boy Donaghy it seems.

Philly McMahon 5 foot 10 inches, Kieran Donaghy 6 foot 3 inches : yeah big Donaghy is always a victim to the Kerry posters.

Why should he? If Donaghy is not the only culprit why single him out?

I wish Galway had a Kieran Donaghy I really do. If so they would not have lost to Tipp today. I admire Kerry hurlers, but the footballers can really be rough. Sorry if you think I am anti Kingdom. But 38 All Irelands- surely you understand why I am rooting for anyone but Kerry ( 38 titles Kerry that is)

Great for Munster football to see Tipp doing well. It will hopefully make a change from the Cork V Kerry matches. Like I said above I really wish Galway or Mayo had a Kieran Donaghy- for his will to win (at all costs)

That works both ways.
If he did play for Dublin or Tyrone their respective supporters, far from criticizing his behavior, would be all but building shrines in his honor, see Philly McMahon/Ryan McMenamin.

A la Lee Keegan and Diarmuid Connolly would you say or the Connor fellow from Clare Why so much Kerry bashing if they win it is always a terrible game or a soft All Ireland if they lose their opponents are magnificent I suppose that is the price of being the KINGDOM We just hav to salute them
