No belief from Clare. No value for Kerry.

Bad for the game as a whole."
Ya our route to semifinal wasn't too hard either.
But sure we can only play what's put in front of us.

Why Clare didn't start young sexton was beyond me an absolute gem of a player who would really trouble any defender. When the Clare full forward line got the ball in first half they really didn't know what to do with it!

Sure look we neglected our youth. We're not hiding from our failings. Target is to win the next game. If not it'll be back to the club championships. No qualms about it.

Yerra poor stuff alright but sure a win's a win, into a semi-final now.

That's our fourteenth semi-final now in the last 16 years by the way.

Havn't been tested at all but on the other side havn't shown our hand either.

Expect Kerry to be a completely different animal come the semi-final. We will most certainly need to be.

But whoever we meet rest assured we won't go down without the mother of all battles.

Hon the Mighty Kingdom!

The route Kerry have just taken to make the last 4 is simply a farce .

Donegal have played Fermanagh , Monaghan , Tyrone and Corkare pretty worn out still only in the quarter final .

James Horan another non Ulster man saying it is not fair .

Again not Kerry fault but it's just not right .

Exactly, not our fault but it's been overstated.

Due to the number of counties in our province we get a bye from the quarter-finals. We've a bigger gap between the league and championship. That's not actually ideal. Players want games. Supporters want games.

We earn the quarter-final bye on the field of play. Tipperary have earned a quarter-final bye for next year. The Munster seeding system is an equal opportunities provider.

the thing about it is clare and tipp beat the teams(cork, roscommon) who might have been perceived to be stronger.thats not kerrys fault is it?dublin have only beaten lower standard teams also? as for clare yesterday they picked the wrong team and used wrong tactics from the start.. as well as underperforming on the day. how some players were left on is a mystery to me. as for the referee mr deegan he really had a shocker(to both sides i might add) gary brennan was basically fouled by blocking everytime he made a move for a ball. the sight of the ref running the length of the field in the last few seconds to give a lad a yellow card after all he missed was really comedy gold..and it summed up his performance...why doesnt david goldrick do all the major matches? maurice has been around a good while and giving him experience isnt an excuse..he reached his plateau many years ago..

None of those sides made the last 4 only Tyrone still can but it doesn't matter because they are 'tradition' is more important than what actually happens on the field of play

I don't understand how the ref in question gets games.By far the worst ref out there.

Kerry is the only county to beat two fellow quarter-finalists on route to the quarter-finals this year.

The Munster final pairing while predictable is often the only all Division 1 provincial final.

This year's surprise Munster final pairing was contested by two All-Ireland semi-finalists.

There has been two all Munster All-Ireland finals in the last 10 championships.

Munster must also be the only province where the 3rd horse in a 2 horse race can reach an All-Ireland semifinal. It's a mighty compliment to the Munster championship that a team that is considered by most 'experts' as canon fodder for Kerry and Cork can be 1 of the last 4 in the All-Ireland series.

I enjoy browsing through the posts in Hoganstand One of my conclusions fro this entertains pass time is 31 should I sa 30 (as Kilkenny don't bother with the big ball) counties are jealous of Kerry's achievements as I post this Kerry teams are actual All Ireland champions in th following grades
All Ireland Junior Champions
All Ireland Minor Champions
All Ireland Senior CollegeChampions
All Ireland Intermediate Club Champions
All Ireland Junior Club Champions
All Ireland U16 Ladies Champions
They have contested 11 of the 15 All Ireland Senior finals of this Millennium
By any standards they are the bench mark the vary their game and style to take on and eventually beat any new 'development' which if used against them successfully is lauded to high heavens but once deployed by them is 'horrible stuff'
My father RIPwas a Lispole man home of a certain Paddy Kennedy ever hear of him even though admiring the old mans fierce loyalty I am Yeats county man and would dearl love to see Sligo win it does not happen and whenever we get a smell who stops us? you have guessed Kerry 75 and 09 only consolation being Pàidís mother and Darragh Toàs and Marc's grandmother comes from Sligo
So stop whinging fellow bloggers stop whinging fake a leaf out of the aristocrat's book they seem to live by

We neglected our youth. It's a hindrance. We're not blaming others for it. We'll battle away. Sure we are a rural county on the southwest coast of Ireland. We'll hope for the best. Ciarraí abú!
