fair play! I admire your confidence. I, too, am confident. Not as openly confident as you but I would take a one point win if t was offered. I would not say that Donegal players are over the hill. Odhran MacNiallas has been their best player and he is still only a pup.

Cork are a funny side, peculiar that is, not HA HA. On occasions they can look like world beaters but most of the time they look like panel beaters. A very moody, Greta Garbo 'I want to be alone' type of a county who turn up if their hair is sitting right or if the wind is blowing the right way. Donegal need to start getting Michael Murphy into the big games if they are going to progress, he is absolutely wasted at the minute and looks very frustrated on the pitch. I don't think Cork have the mental strength to get through a very defensive, sloggy type of game and that's why I give Donegal the nod....just. I expect Donegal to win this one with a bit to spare, Cork have some good forwards and an ok midfield but most of their problems are in the backs have yet to experience a team of the stature of Donegal in this years championship. seadog54 (Meath) - Posts: 2142 - 26/07/2016 15:33:17 1890462 Link 0 |

Wonder you don't fancy them for Sam The problem is if you do beat Donegal Cork then play Dublin and the way you are talking that also should be handy enough. Then the semi with a likely meeting with Kerry Know what happens when you play Kerry in Croke park----- ye spend the rest of the year washing your togs SamOnErrigal (Donegal) - Posts: 1427 - 26/07/2016 18:14:14 1890575 Link 0 |
This is a difficult game to call, Cork have the momentum whereas Donegal have been dealt a huge psychological blow getting beat in the Ulster final. I expect Donegal to try to choke the life out of Cork. Cork have some really great players and if they hit form they are a handful. I still Donegal will win by a few points. Yes, but there are two hip joints, which I would wager make up over 95% of the problems people have with their hip.

Yeah Ryan McHugh, Odhran Mac Nialis and Michael Murphy should all be signing on for the pension any day now.
