Replying To WhyTheLongFace:  "Or one of does Fire breathing Dragons from Derry flew over head scattering players and supporters to run for there lives from all directions ...i know exactly what your talking about,i wonder will the Fire breathing Dragon be in the new Jim McGuinness movie ??? Because i think the movie will need excitement !"
I think they might get a green eyed monster from Meath to liven it up.

Replying To MuckrossHead:  "Donegal have a game against Cork next weekend, Tyrone don't.

Donegal county players play for their clubs every weekend except the weekend before a game when they get together.

Tell me the Tyrone players will play the weekend before the QF and then I will be impressed."
Indeed, I heard Mattie Donnelly shipped a knock to the head and had to be withdrawn in his match for Trillick!
I must say it with a hint of sadness that Joe Brolly has finally cut himself loose of the Donegal bandwagon and is now firmly re-attached to Tyrone's! It was good while it lasted!

I wouldn't go and watch that. If anyone was told before the game that the score would have been so low, then no one would have gone in their right mind. Low scoring games can be interesting or even exciting, but with such a low score, it was either total and ultra defensive tactics or terrible shooting. Probably both. Shots under pressure from the 45 by 2 teams that haven't practised this skill. Maybe its time that they did start practising long range shooting, it might open the game up.

The two clubs should be banned from Football for a year, they could have weight lifting competitions againt each other for the coming 12 months.

Replying To MuckrossHead:  "Other results from Div 1 this weekend.

Dungloe 3-13 1-6 Termon
St Michael's 1-16 1-13 Kilcar
Bundoran 2-13 4-08 Ardara
Gweedore 1-12 1-09 Glenties

This result was an aberration & down to bad shooting"
probably the best assessment so far , bit of an overreaction on here , had it been in Dublin probably wouldn't have gotten as much of a mention , just put it down to a really crap game , having attended many a club turkey game it happens

People go to soccer games where five scores would be considered a high scoring game.

Total over-reaction to this game, but sure don't we live in the age of over-reaction and self-righteous indignation to everything we see on the internet? Amateur game played by amateurs; give them a break lads.

People go to soccer games and watch a 0-0 scor line. Still don't put them off from going next time.
Also how many times have the rep of Ireland drew 0-0 and people were happy. Indeed they weren't too downhearted after France beat them 2-1 in the Euros.
That was a one off yesterday , yet if Donegal were to beat say either Dublin or Kerry with a score line of 3 points to 0-2 I'd be over the moon.

in soccer you are not allowed to handle the ball. you also dont get any points when you kick the ball over the goals. can you imagine the scores in soccer if points were awarded and you could catch and kick the ball . 3 points to 2 in GAA is outragous.

In fairness there were 6 scores in the IFC game. That would be a belter of a game in Ulster...
