Ah lads stop will ask every dub I've wanted change to the system the last 4 years I have rows with Hill16man everyday nearly about how I get no enjoyment hammering Laois or Westmeath, the system is a joke for the whole country and Jerry playing Clare Tipp Clare just shows it up even more how bad it is. Well done Tipp and Clare great achievement.

For Tyrone to get to a semi its Derry, Cavan, Cavan again, Donegal and most likely Mayo. (and that's with missing the Preliminary Round in Ulster)

As a result of this year systems will change I think

Tipp or Galway into a football semi final now who would've thought that at the start of the season? Brilliant to see if my opinion, will be in Croker cheering on Galway tomorrow with my Galway wife but seeing Tipp win too would be brilliant.

There's luck of the draw across all knockout competitions.

Look at Portugal playing Wales in the Euro Semi-final.

Like Wales, Clare have reached the stage they're at on merit, having won 4 championship matches this season.

It is not Kerry's fault but it's hard to believe they would take the same satisfaction from beating Tipperary in the Munster Final as Tyrone did for instance in beating Donegal in the Ulster final. Same goes for Dublin they have won the league for the last four years so they have no fear of anybody but the players can not be taking great enjoyment from whats put up to them at present. Dublin v Kerry is a banker semi-final but these players need to be showcased more often against tougher opposition.

Tipperary just Derry(who beat Cavan) in an Ulster venue so are Tipp must be really a tough team going by your logic.

Cork Donegal is a 50/50 game I'd go for Cork personally

Thanks a lot, I was delighted for Clare. The three of us a Waterford stuck together when Cork and Kerry tried to pull a fast one with a return to unfair seeding a couple of years ago.

What we have now isn't ideal either, I'd prefer to go back to an open draw. But at least we'll be seeded next year with Kerry after beating cork.

God you finally cracked and get us some credit for our wins but also discredited it by saying Kerry only have to beat us to get to a semi final.

Two of the three teams Dublin beat are long gone from the championship and barring an off day by Mayo Westmeath will be following Laois and Meath out of the championship.

Come out of your ivory tower and appreciate football outside of Leinster. There are three other provinces with 20 teams.

Replying To Killarney.87:  "They've had really good minor teams that ran Tipp, cork and Kerry close but couldn't get the big win.

They had us beaten in Thurles last year and we pulled through with a late finish to win by a point. We went on to play Kerry in the Munster and all-Ireland finals so last year's Clare minor team was one of the best in the Country. The Munster minor football championship is of really high standard."
Fair play to them,you wonder what they have done?

There is a chance, though remote, that Kerry
could win the AI by beating Clare, Tipperary, Dublin/ A.N. Other and Tipperary!!

Potential paths to Semi Final

Kerry = Clare, Tipp and Clare Again!!! = 3 Games
Donegal = Fermanagh, Monaghan x 2, Tyrone. Cork, Dublin = 6 Games
Dublin = Laois, Meath, W'Meath, Donegal = 4 Games
Tyrone = Derry, Cavan x 2, Donegal, Mayo = 5 Games
Galway = Mayo, Roscommon x 2, Tipperary = 4 Games
Mayo = Galway, Fermanagh, Kildare, Westmeath, Tyrone = 5 Games

No further explanation needed me thinks!!

So all we can take from Tipp beating Cork and Derry and Clare beating Laois, Sligo and Roscommon is how Kerry are getting an unfair run to the semi final.

Come on lads you are better than that?

Why did you omit Clare and leave out who Tipp beat to get to the quarter finals?

I said well done to Tipp and Clare my point is on a crazy system that has Kerry playing Clare Tipp and Clare again, well done again Clare and Tipp great achievement. if Kerry had to play Kildare Meath Kildare I'd be saying the exact same thing a joke of a system. How you's can't agree with me on this is really strange.
