In fairness Saddam if we get to a semi final (not a given) it would be a serious achievement for us to be a top 4 side (irrespective of the stuff thrown out being on the easier side of the draw etc). As posted earlier on this thread we have already taken out two 2 div 1 sides already. On the flip side to all this I see now that KW does have a more long term plan in process and certainly wont knee jerk react if we get beaten at q/f level this season although I will be very dissapointed given the progress we have made already. One thing I have found about most Galway football folk over the yrs is that they are realistic and more so than many counties with lesser achievements. That has been my experience and not meant to be a dig at any of our rivals.

Replying To jafallon:  "Only going away from home and beating a consensus top 3 team. What about 2015 in Salthill so, we're Mayo desperate that day when they needed the galway keeper to kick it off his own defender for an OG to get the win? Mayo were poor this year because Galway made them look poor. A team will generally look bad when it's being beaten"
Ha, you're making a big medal out of a fortunate Mayo goal in Salthill last season but are conveniently ignoring a freak goal that Galway got in Castlebar this year, one in which the scorer ran with the ball for 8 steps.
