Cue, I've just given you two likes. You're flying at the top of that table . Next thing is they'll be bringing in smiley face emojis.

I know it's a stupid thread Cue. It gets a bit annoying after 10 years of the same auld rhetoric though. They wait for one lopsided hurling match and go writing obituaries about the game.

We should be applauding wexford's first win over Cork since 1956 instead.

I love hurling, have very little or no interest in football.
Somebody in Tyrone or Kerry or Longford probably loves football, passively follows hurling if even.
Somebody in Dublin 4 loves rugby, maybe watches the final of the hurling and football, maybe not.
It is all personal choice. Each to their own. For me, comparing hurling and football is no different to comparing hurling and rugby. Each to their own I think.

Totally agree. Its rubbish to say hurling is better than football.
More accurate to say its far far better than football.
Faster, more flamboyant, more skill orientated.
That is all....

I personally wouldn't watch hurling. When you hear of one top 5 team beating another top five team by 21 points its a joke.

What about Dublin footballers winning Leinster games by an average of 15 points over the last 3-5 years? And it's easier to rack up a big score in hurling.Waterford were just 3 points behind after 40 minutes on Sunday. And that after hitting 11 wides.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Hurling is our national game & should be far better promoted in counties like Longford but then again it's no wonder when your attitude usually holds sway in Pearse Park.
