Hurling qualifiers pairings

Worst Cork team? Sure most of them started the All-Ireland 3 years ago? Would that not say Clare were the worst team to win an All-Ireland by that logic?
I hate this bull that when Wexford or Dublin or Offaly beat a Munster team, it is the Munster team were bad. Wexford won because they were better than Cork and didn't give Cork an inch. We wanted to win more.
I don't think we will get beyond the quarter final but a bit of credit where it is due lads.
The second match was not 1 bit better in terms of standard. Slightly higher intensity that was it.
Btw, to bennybunny, etc, hard luck last night. Sporting supporters at the end of the match. How it should be.

Yes Pinkie - 3 years ago is quiet a while and I by worst team, I mean I dont think I have ever seen a Cork team with such a consistently poor performance level over the course of a season. That cannot be disputed.

wexford were well deserved of their win - 100% the better team, in fact it should have been more but for a couple of spurned chances but to ignore corks limitations is wrong. Clare could learn a thing or two on accuracy from Wexford if truth be told.

Hurling is in a state and lads are happy to see it. The stuff Saturday night was awful hurling. Pure negative unskilled hurling. Bar Kilkenny Tipp and Galway nobody wants to win any more. They just dont want to lose. And they are 2 different things.

34 points scored in the Limerick Clare match tells its own story.

Brolly & Spillane were spot on yesterday. Hurling people knock football on a daily basis and are too ignorant to see their own game is just as bad.

mike03, I thought the Cork Wexford game was actually a very decent game of hurling. No nonsense, get the ball in there stuff from Wexford which is how Kilkenny and Tipp play it.
I was extremely disappointed by Limerick I must say. I genuinely hope we don't see 3 U21 teams wasted again. Next appointment after TJ is vital.

Yeah open draw in that situation cos Kilkenny haven't played Wexford, and Tipp haven't played Clare in this year's championship.

If Galway or Waterford win we can't have a provincial rematch at semi final stage.
