Donegal v Tyrone

Replying To TheFlaker:  "Tyrone have been very hard done by in the first half in particular for both black cards. Every week now there is controversy, some calls are borderline but today we clearly have a ref looking like he is trying to stamp his authority over a game in my opinion, unfortunately by doing so he seems to have presumed there were warranted black card offences."
Mcshanes was a black card, no foul before hand, and petulance in tripping Donegal player when ball was gone , right under umpires nose, was stupidity in its highest form, but lets not deflect from the real problem in that first half, 14 kicks of ball by each team in 35 mins, is nothing short of absolutely disgusting football /handball at its very worst.

That was dire.

Like line dancing but with a football, a few steps forward a few more back. Then to compound it we had the farcical refereeing and the whole black card fiasco.

It was so bad I actually downloaded Pokemon go for a bit of entertainment

Donegal dominating Tyrone physically, mentally and tactically; they are bullying them all over the pitch.

If he didn't stop his foot then he would have got stood on. Are you saying it's better to be stood on?

If it was for verbal abuse as the BBC said, that's fair enough.

Also I have never seen a black card given for verbal and to a ref never mind a new umpire

The last thing on his mind was getting stood on, it was a trip plain and simple.

Donegal v's Tyrone

Great the see the Tyrone fouling been punished with black cards. Until you start to punish these northern teams they won't stop it."
What tyrone fouling? There's hardly been a tackle all game."
There's been lots of tackles. Just manners been put on Tyrone by a well equipped team and experienced team like Donegal and a ref. That is not afraid to issue cards for cynical play. If Tyrone go on to win then fair play to them as they will have to win it within the rules and not by conning the ref.

Achieve now I think your being harse. Your instinct would be to protect yourself not to trip a man on his goal line

Dire stuff.....but I hope Tyrone win. At least they are trying to play football and not the negative crap we are subjected to year after year from Donegal!

Are you seriously telling me either of those black cards were correct. There was a least 2 pull downs by Donegal players that no foul was given for

Say what you want but it's far more exciting and watchable than the Croke Park turkey shoot coming up at 4.00. Now I think I'll give that a miss and go out in the sun.

Does tier an McCann actually know how to tackle. He never tackles the ball and only seems to able to catch players around the hip like he wants to dance with them.

Should have been a Tyrone penalty. Instead we see Mc Ginley faking injury. He's becoming quite a performer.
