What is going wrong with Kildare football?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

If mayo win the all Ireland I know nothing about Gaelic football, apart from Boyle and Diarmud O Conor (whose outstanding) all their big players have been terrible, they've been cleaned out in midfield, if anything happens to D O C their goosed imo. There just not at it and I'm the one saying all year there the team I fear most but right now I can't see it.

Didn't see the game but fair play to Kildare for making a match of it, can anyone fill me in on whether Mayo were poor or were Kildare up for it?

Thanks woops, the difference between the Ulster and Leinster loser is a big one!

I don't think the coach has any clue of how to set a team out. I would single the defenders out for serious criticism. What happened to the thought of putting a hand in? Cowardice and ineptitude.

Ah Daith come on how can you blame the coach here? Kildare did the best they could away to Mayo you can't blame the coach for this he's doing the best with the players he has.

Well when you see some of the players who Kildare insist on using who are well past their sell by date it's no surprise they're so poor

Thought Kildare played well enough. Was surprised no 10 and Bolton came off at half time. Kicked some nice scores all be it Mayo sleepwalking through the second half

Biggest province and yet again all gone by round 4 except 2 finalists and westmeath will be gone by quarter finals
Something seriously wrong in that province and it ain't the Dubs fault.

Of the four qualifier games played yesterday, the Clare-Sligo game had 33 scores, as had the mayo-Kildare game. The Cavan-Derry game produced a massive 36 scores! That would suggest 6 attack-minded teams to me. Football now is as good, if not better, than during any other decade that I can remember.
