to a small minority..the viewing figures and support in france speaks for itself...you fight the good fight there good lad...any other arguments you want to bring up that were being made like 4-6 years ago?

keeper re ireland being outnumbered by polish fans - i have been at limerick football games at home where the away fans (who had to travel a bit) outnumbered us, remember us playin london 2 year ago in a qualifier-there was nearly as many london fans at it,

there is bandwagons in all sports - not such a bad thing if bandwagons did not exist there would not be 80000 at an all ireland final or 65000 munster fans going to a heineken cup final - would you rather galway v kilkenny final played in front of 80k or in from of 30k like last week

Replying To alano12:  "u seem rather bitter..sounds like you wouldnt be on it even if they topped the group..still not really seeing what your point is....fair play to you for being so superior"
Just because I can think for myself & don't blindly follow the crowd in all matters doesn't mean I think I'm superior.

Replying To alano12:  "the publicity seems to be still going strong but yes of course its going to die down somewhat without england and ireland still in it..basic common sense seeing as the channels and newspapers available to us are British & Irish..they are so big do you honestly dispute this?..look its clear your not a big fan of the national team like a small minority here but at least try and keep an objective mind"
you on one hand say nothing can compare to this competition
then on the other hand feel its right that the coverage drains off when two teams with no chance of winning exit?
instead of actually covering the competition when it matters at the buisness end, they now seem to be more interested in transfers.
that shows a poor focus on the sport in general, that just because there out to hell out with it.
dont say much about what actual soccer people feel about the euros if thats the mentality behind it.
there was more about pogba joining man utd possibly
than him playing in one of the biggest games of his carear last night

not too a small minority
as lets face it the euros was all about a holiday for most
and alcohol for the ones at home.
if they were such a big deal to everybody wouldnt they be getting that attention all the time?
you seen it with wales too they dont even play their home games in the millenium stadium
they play in cardiff city ground as the crowds arent there, but there was more travelled over for the tournament than attended as igle home qualifer haha.
