One law for Dublin and another for Laois Armagh

What about the Antrim v Meath game on Saturday ? Throw in at 5pm same time as N.I v Wales. I guess some Antrim supporters are going to be asking themselves should I go or should I stay?. Norn Iron will have plenty of support at their game, the Antrim hurlers on the other hand will appreciate their fans support by showing up.

Just the way it should be

I see on a HS poll that 88% agree with the move

Croke park only thinking about the coffers, heaven forbid they would miss out on a few euros.

Funny thing is they possibly will loose out more with a 6.35 throw in time

Did either Laois or Armagh request the throw-in time be changed? If so, & the opposition had no objection to it, I presume it would've been granted.

No idea on the big deal about this. Reckon it had as much to do with RTE than anything else. More money made by TV than the attendance perhaps.

As for it suiting Dubs. Well no not really. Certainly doesn't suit me and now more awkward to go than the original throw in. Sure it's the same for a lot of Meath fans travelling up.

Article by former Laois player Peter O Leary on HS is typical reaction of some. Equates how organised the GAA were with rearranging this game to how they dragged on about a decision for Laois-Armagh fiasco. Hmm, I wouldn't blame anyone at Laois GAA for what happened there nor the GAA themselves. It was Dublin's fault. Silly stuff.

Not sure if they will be showing the rugby though not sure why they would not - give them a shout.
Corrigan does have a social club with a bar and do show sports (or at least did last time I was in it which granted was a few years ago now) and you are correct it is beside the Ballymurphy estate - nice spot? Depends what part of Limerick you are coming from :)

Plenty of bars up the west anyway so you will get something or if you are staying could head into the City and take your pick - Botanic Inn generally a good sports bar also.

Laois have no supporters who go to the games so why change anything to accommodate them?

Just checked the Botanic Inn website and they are advertising the Rugby and Soccer for Saturday as well as Monaghan Donegal - would not take you long getting across from Corrigan.
