Monaghan V Donegal

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I couldn't see the match on any channel for tonight, which is weird for a Ulster Championship Semi final replay.

Is there any known live streaming links for the match? Or is Armagh TV maybe showing the match?

Not available anywhere. There will obviously be cameras at the game so it should be streamed online if the powers that be had any sense.

Not on due to fixture agreement/rights with sky. Replay of fixture carries over to the original rights, even if sky doesnt show the replay. Radio will have it for sure.

I'm shocked they aren't even offering deferred coverage, really poor move by these broadcasters.

Perhaps time for an alternative.

Was just looking at GAA GO, and I think this match should have been broadcast on that facility, as it is not being broadcast live by either Sky or RTE. And according to guidelines, GAA GO cannot broadcast games in the UK or Ireland that Sky or RTE are broadcasting live.

In this particular case, the Monaghan v Donegal replay is not being shown live on any channel, so GAA GO could stream this game. This is an Ulster Football Championship Semi Final replay, and there are qualifier games getting air time today.

Some overpaid amadan should get a roasting over this

No it appears as if none of the two Ulster Semi final replays will be shown on any channel.

This is shocking

Munster final is on RTE far as I know.
Would rather watch the Tyrone game myself (less predictable) but Id be very surprised if either Cavan or Tipp win.

I think Tyrone v Cavan is going to be shown as the deferred game.
Check it out.

Oh this is a tight game in Cavan. What's this with the Maor Foirne? We may get one out there too.

Donegal by 1 point. Good game but they were the better team on both days.

Not to repeat what has already been said, but it really is an utter embarrassment that this match wasn't broadcast anywhere. Two of the best teams in the competition and a match up that often throws up tight contests being sidelined is ridiculous, especially after the muck we had to watch in the Leinster championship last week.

Long time since I listened to a game on the radio, have to say it was great!! great win and great skill and character by the Donegal team, delays making changes from the line will cost us some day unless Rory cops himself on a bit.
I'd love to see Cavan make the final, just watched the 1983 Ulster final on youtube the last night.
hard luck to Monaghan, they'll be in the back door and a tough opponent for anyone.
Up Donegal!!

The best game I never seen

Was listening to it on the Radio Ulster live with Banty and Brendan Devenney, and it sounded like a cracking game. Even in the 5th minute of injury time Monaghan were on the verge of an equaliser, although all pundits agreed it would have been exceptionally harsh on Donegal who played an outstanding game.

Cracking game that went to the wire again, which is nothing more than you'd expect between these two.

Best team won without a doubt. You can't perform like we did in the first half and expect to win games, we were blessed to even be in touch thanks to the goals. We were being overrun in defence and lacked imagination going forward. Things improved a bit in the second half but Donegal were well in control by that point. We've been slow starters all year and it bit us in the ass today. Good heart shown again to be in it to the final whistle, but there was too much left to do.

He's putting too much effort into keeping his water man out on the pitch. Can't see either Cavan or Tyrone letting this carry on go on.

Well disappointed after coming so close at the finish to forcing extra time but sounded like we were lucky to even be that close to Donegal on basis off the 70 mins who sounded like they were by far better side in first half with a slightly more even second. Congrats to them and best of luck in the final. Exceptional outfit to be fair who could go all the way to September now. For us its next Saturday night and Longford which will be v tough to get up for and I hope Malachy rings the changes. He will need to as from what I could gather from local radio a few of our lads will be very disappointed with their performance. On the plus side on a disappointing evening sounded like McCarthy and McCarron staked their claims for future inclusion.
