Mayo Hurlers

Haha keeper jackass is a very underused insult but appropriate here. Liner makes a comment like that but then is worried how a lad hurling with Ballyhaunis and Mayo for the past 6 years is insulting to young Mayo hurlers and does nothing to foster the game there!

A man who has made mayo his home in the county and plays his hurling in mayo is clearly permitted to play for mayo even though he may never consider himself a Mayo man. What are your thoughts on the other three outsiders on the starting fifteen with more tenuous links to the county? My original post simply points out that the current mayo hurling team includes such players. These outsiders have been drafted in and real mayo players have been relegated to the bench.
Clearly neither of you are capable reasoned debate and resorting to insults further highlights this. Now guys stop digging because it's clear to all who the quadrupeds are on this thread.

Clearly neither of you are capable of reasonable argument or sustained debate. You invariably choose to ignore the points that are irrefutable and keep on repeating yourselves. Any man who has come to live in a county and plays in that county is allowed to play for that county even though he will never consider himself a mayo man. What about the three others with more tenuous links to mayo? it's unfair that they have relegated mayo lads to the bench.
Resorting to puerile name calling and mutual back slapping gives me an idea of the type of mind-set I am dealing with and proves to all who the quadrupeds on this thread really are.

Lots of people will put the boot in on their on their county team when they lose but it takes a particular brand of whinger to begrudge them when they win. Maybe Enda Kenny was right in what he said after all...?

These cristy rings and other micky mouse cups are needed in the football I think . Atleast mayo get to win something to work on for the next year . Poor football counties like Carlow or Waterford have no hope of anything other than the league but the league is for trying new players/positions and tactics .
