Game over.

Seriously embarrassing effort from Laois.

The sooner the structure changes and we get more even contests and not these endless pointless inevitable mismatches the better.

The Laois players as well as there fans seem to have boycotted this match.

The naivety that Laois have shown in the first 15 minutes of this game is mind blowing. Obviously the Dubs have better individuals, but, they also have a game plan for the team. I am sure Laois also have a gameplan but it doesnt seem like a logical one!

McCauley should go as well deserved the tump that pulling and dragging needs to be stamped out. Linesman seen him at it both should be off

Embarrassing for Laois and embarrassing for the GAA in general - a totally one-sided affair in a half-empty stadium that proves that championship restructures are sorely needed.

For years we've listened to the Dubs complain that if they were moved out of Croke Park for a championship game that no matter what ground wouldn't be big enough to house them. Well tonight has proved them to be talking through their holes as I'm looking at a half empty ground.

Laois shouldn't have bowed to the GAA and boycotted this fixture to make a statement. It's a pointless fixture. I'm switching off now until Dublin have to face Tyrone.

If he punched him too then he defo deserves the same punishment. Provocation needs to be stamped out.

The replay I saw though wasn't clear what MDMA did to provoke O'Loughlin.

It looks like a massive over reaction from the Laois man. I only saw the one replay at half time there so happy to be proved wrong and MDMA should have gone if he did more than pull and drag O'Loughlin back a bit.

If everyone who pulled or dragged got a dig there'd be no one left on the pitch in most games.

Yes MDMA should get sent off for a non red card offence to even out that fact that his marker punched him. Dublin get all these decision. Refs should interpret pushing and shoving the same as punching a guy.

Lol only 16k. I remember meath v Wexford in a leinster quarter final in 2008 getting over 10k down in portlaoise.

Shows the damage Dublins dominance has done. They should be rotated around the provinces and only play in leinster every 4 years.

And let's never hear about Dublin being too big to take out of croker again.

Probably true enough. I have nothing against Dublin or anything it's just in general I hate to see that much of lads checking lads runs and winding players up. Firstly MDMA fouled him then as soon as play restarts he checked O'Loughlind run and drags and pulls him. He should be have struck out but me personally I would have done the same. Sadly that's way game is going so that off the ball sh**e. MDMA deserved a card too imo. Anyway not a hope of anyone stopping Dublin they are sheer class everywhere

Dublin v poor 2nd half. No full back playing it seems. Is Johnny Cooper actually playing full back?

Mannion has lost almost every ball that's come into him.

Too many players going at half speed.

Fair enough pingcity, Laois have not let themselves down at all, no one will beat us with 14 men so fair balls to them for keeping going.

Your suggestion for Dublin rotating around the provinces is plain daft.

When do we decide when a county has become too dominant so they have to be rotated.Should Mayo or Kerry be rotated around the provinces seeing as they dominate their province also?

Laois have shown twice how to get in on goal here, managed a goal and got a penalty the other time. Coupled with the fact that the Dubs have had an extra man and that they will never get as much time on the ball for the rest of the season then they are not scary in fairness.

Not great from us but usual early roundgame and job done. Young Con O'Callaghan looks like he has the moves like Jagger :)
Well done to Laois for not freezing in the headlights!
