Only thing needed now is ability to track our own posts and bring back the open/general topics forum and we have a good thing again.

In fairness there's been the odd Sunday morning post from me that is made under the influence. The morning after we beat Westmeath last year led to some rare posts by me on this and Twitter. Hill16army ended up following me on Twitter after it.

Wow what a sea change! From heavy censorship to freedom of speech. I thought when admin said you could post 24/7 they meant you could post between 10pm and 8am but that they would remain unpublished until first being viewed by admin during the normal hours.

Never mind most liked and popular.

We need a most unliked and least popular to really make it fun.

In fairness people would just start hitting the thumbs down on certain posters because they dislike them (purely from a forum perspective)

Most Popular Users is most likely to be Most Prolific Users. Bit pointless.

Maybe not Breff

You don't need to be prolific to write one comment that a lot of people could relate / agree with

That's great and all but if you guys are gonna tinker with things on here I think a far better feature would be to let us forum users track our own posts. If you're busy it's hard to pick up where Ye left off after a few days. That and allowing general discussion topics, like we could do in the past, would be a great change.

Most popular users, this leads to the site been dominated by a few who also seem to be allowed post what they like. Other users & posts with genuine good points for debate don't seem to make the cut, surely it's about the topic & debating that. I saw another forum which had most popular users & posters with most topics, it descended into a farce & the forum fell apart. I would like to see a private message system where the moderators could say why a post is not published, especially when one sees a similar post by another user having no problem being posted. GAA in all its aspects including forums such as this need to allow real debate & not remain entrenched.

I'm not a fan of this most popular user format.I don't think there is any reason for it and the thumbs up/down thing should suffice.
