Galway v Roscommon
Galway had a superb win against Mayo in the last game.But there will pressure on here in this interesting Connaught final.Rossies have played a lot of games so far,and have been building up nicely.If Galway win this on the back of the Mayo win,it will be the makings of this team.Some could suggest the same for the Rossies however too.One things for sure we will have 3 serious contenders in this province for the forseable and that is great.

A serious test for the character of this Mayo team.I still think they were wrong to oust the last management team so it really is up to the players here.Fermanagh are a good side and well coached by the great Pete McGrath.This will be a good game,but Mayo to prevail.

Derry v Meath
This is a chance for O'Dowd to win his first game in the qualifier and he has no excuse.Meath have got worse under his regime and the Westmeath game last season should have signalled the end.Instead Meath have been going through the motions this season.Derry are similar to Meath however, Barton is in his first year.They were poor against Tyrone and beat Louth late on.Funnily enough this is third home game,it could go to extra time,either way I see a narrow Derry win.

Kildare v Offaly
Kildare were dreadful against Wexford and not much better against Westmeath.They narrowly beat Offaly in the qualifiers last last too.Offaly were unlucky to lose to Westmeath so this points towards a close game.Kildare just to nick it due to home comforts.

It has been an interesting few weeks for Laois who ultimately beat Armagh twice.But I would fear them travelling down to Clare.Clare lost out to Kerry in munster and I see them taking a bit of a scalp here.

Limerick had a good win up in Antrim and may give a Cork a good go.If there is anything in Cork however,they surely have to win this.

Monaghan v Longford
Longford had a great win in Down,but Monaghan are a different animal.They will be disappointed to lose to Donegal,but this is a good draw to get them back up on the bike.
Cavan v Carlow
Cavan got a firm lesson from Tyrone,but they are well capable of going on a run and reaching the last 8.Carlow had a good win against Wicklow,but,could Cavan have had a better draw?
