Replying To thejockey:  "Two tight games in the finals yesterday. Have to say not much difference in quality between the matches. Junior final was more exciting played at a better tempo. TMC just about deserved the win.

Inter final was very stop start throughout lots of breaks in the game for injures. Game pretty even overall was decided by an shocking pen decision which was converted by Cus. Harps will feel hard done by.

From yesterdays showing, wont be too much in the playoff but would still fancy Cus."
I'd say the play off will be very close and in general there seems to be very little difference between Junior and Inter. Cu's also have quite a small squad and might be content with the county medal! Fair play to Tommie Macs on taking down the junior, nobody had them in their top 3 or 4 shouts a few months ago. Likes of Eire og, Clarets, Dulwich will not have a chance as good as this years any time soon.

TMcs were very good value for their win and Mcgirr was the difference. they've done very well to prevail seeing as there was a lot of noise coming from Eire Og and TCG as is ALWAYS the case earlier on in the season.

Cu's marginally shaded the second game which was a poor spectacle in comparison to the junior final, skills, kick passing and decision making was not great. Harlesdens temperament seems to get the better of them at crucial stages and it happened again yesterday.

the difference between junior and intermediate isn't huge and tmcs could do well next season and in the play off. with the intermediate championship being a poised chalice for the winners in recent years, it will be important for CU's to be realistic and make sure they don't totally capitulate in the way Neasden and garryowen have done after their promotions. the gulf between senior and intermediate/junior is huge, and can do more damage than good to a team in the long run.

Can't see CuChulainns getting turned over tomorrow, 5-6 point win easy.

Senior Semis should be interesting, TCG and Fulham Irish to prevail but both games should be close.

Fancied McCurtains as intermediate was very poor this year. Fair play to them and hope they kick on in the all Britain.

Congratulations to Tommy Macs. Are they the first Junior side to going into the AB? Cant recall any others winner the playoff.

As for Cu's their aim for the season would be win the inter, which they have achieved, but will have to recruit heavily just to be competitive at senior level next season.

McCurtains came under the radar this year, wasn't to much said about them, lot of talk about a few other clubs but they failed to deliver when it mattered, very strong defensively and have the bit of quality up front that wins games. Game Saturday shows there is very little between all the intermediate clubs and the top 4/5 Junior teams. Sadly over the last number of years London teams have had a very poor record in the All Britian, last time McCurtains were in it, got to the final but were beaten by Mitchells the year before they got to the All Ireland.

Congratulations Thomas Mc Curtains, I thought that the fixture would have resulted in a comprehensive victory for Cu Chulainns, they were the stand out team at intermediate and had what looked to be a bigger, more physical team with forwards capable of putting a team to the sword if they got room to play. That is why my prediction was for a 5/6 point win.

To be fair anyone would naturally make the same assumption, junior teams shouldn't be able to compete with the upper echelon of intermediate.

If you didn't know who won what grade you would have easily thought Mc Curtains won intermediate.

I went to the game and the underage one beforehand which was a great spectacle too. Tactically Mc Curtains had it to a tee and looked the much hungrier team. Defensively they hit hard and broke with pace out of the 5/6 forwards only two really seen the ball, but there seemed to be a lot of running off the ball from the others to create space which speaks volumes of a team.

I hope they go on to do something in Britain but I'm not sure if they will given the lack of experience at that level. Who do they play?

TCG and Fulham Irish games were decent, goals doing it for TCG in a tough encounter. Fulham Irish had less of a struggle, not sure how the final will go.

Aye, They should have won it ,, but playing with 2 if not 3 sweepers with a gale in 2nd half was ridiculous. probably got full deserved. they point blanky refused to kick into space,. Young Butler was winning everything inside and kicked everything came into him .. Congrats To Fulham on the day who kept ticking over,, couple subs made a difference and thought Mulligan showed great class throughout. . One left behind for Greenford men without a doubth...
