North London Shamrocks going very well in senior so far, likewise Joes in Intermediate.

Any predictions for this year then?

I think it's very early in the year to predict anything. Clarets and Taras by far the strongest especially when it comes to championship. Eire Og have been disappointing so far but they'll improve.

Interested to see when it comes to the games where you have a decent crowd, I had though TCG were given money to upgrade the pitch whilst Ruislip is being redeveloped.
Fulham under pressure after losing first game, looks like could be a tight championship, NLS continuing to develop as the have the last few years.

I think st kiernans will make there break through this year, excellent first win and i think with there experience over last few years will help them get over the line.

St Kiernans look like the team to beat. NLS have lost two big names in Scott Conroy and Patrick O'Hara but seems to have signed well this year. The Parnells, Fulham, NLS and KKG group is wide open now.

Kiernans look to be the team to beat, but can be unpredictable and need to reach a level of consistency week in week out that will allow them to cross the line.NLS are probably next in line and have the players to challenge, they are obviously a well funded club and have signed very well even in the absence of the players they lost.TCG simply lost too many good players and did not replace them and are struggling badly by heir own very high standards. Both KKG and Parnells are a bit of a mixed bag, both have a decent 16-17 players but injuries etc could cost them when push comes to shove.Fulham Irish are aging team who lost the appetite while the towers could cause a shock yet.
Prediction Kiernans v NLS final with Kiernans to succeed if they reach their full potential
with TCG and Parnells reaching the semi finals.
Going by the first round games there is a big drop in standard this year in the London seniors.
Just a guess : Neasden for Intermediate and Tara for junior.

Write TCG off at your peril, Tower's who they drew with aren't a bad side. That said, would agree with the general consensus here in that Kiernan's are the strongest at the moment but feel the senior championship is the most open it has been in a few years.

Joe's should take intermediate with Neasden pushing them close.

Claret's likewise should take Junior with Tara's challenging.

Can't see anyone but the four team's mentioned above making the final of intermediate or Junior.

Gabriels looking strong for the senior championship, Pearses or Thomas McCurtains in the intermediate, although I haven't seen much hurling this year...

Ya, it should be either Emmetts or Gabriels for the senior.
Not much between Pearses, Murphys and MacCurtains in the intermediate.

Two of the football matches this weekend are being played in Tottenhall, The Shamrocks home ground. Whats is the pitch like up there?
and why was it moved from Greenford?

what are we thinking now for the rest of championship.

NLS going well and look like they will finish top - KKG are completely out which is a bit of a shock because they have some decent player s - NLS to play winners of Keirnans and Towers - a draw will do towers to go through as TCG will dominate Garryowen as they are a poor side that dont offer much... Winners of fulham and parnells to go through also - id fancy fulham all day.

looks like it will be - NLS and Fulham & TCG and Towers/Keirnans - i fancy towers to do it - kernans dont like playin under pressure and maybe towers lads will be hungier.

TCG seem to be coming into shape too - any idea when is Gottche back for him he will be a plus..

TCG Vrs Parnell's
NLS Vrs St Kiernans

And KKG are heading for a relegation play off. Parnell's could surprise people here. This time last year NLS were fighting to stay up

Any predictions for the weekend? TCG should have far too much for Parnells. Kiernans vs NLS should be an interesting one. Both teams are strong on paper.
My predictions
TCG by 4-7 Points
Kiernans by 1-2 Points
