Time to do away with the speeches I believe.They did away with them for the minors a few years back its time the seniors and the rest followed suit.

Michael fennelly's speech the day he captained Kilkenny from the bench was the pits for me.
Anthony dalys in 95 is epic
I always remember Glen Ryan in 98 when we won Leinster , brilliant.

Don't see what people's problems with speeches is, the are aimed at there own supporters not other counties. Other sports without speeches I think is a anti climax. It is a good chance to thank people who have put a lot of work into the team. I find it strange on this to see people who counties have won the all Ireland not to hang around for the presentation.

I dont mind the hip hip stuff.
Its the endless "ah..id like to thank...,ah..Id like to thank....ah,Id like to thank" stuff that does my head in. It ruins the speech imo.
I dont think Ive ever heard a GAA speech that I enjoyed tbh.
