If Kerry were to meet Dublin in league final...

Fair enough Gary but what you have stated there is quite a distance from your original post which said that you don't believe Dublin see Kerry as a rival or threat. As it happens I think you are wrong on both counts.

I disagree, I stand over that comment within context of The Butter men being unable to beat Dublin in Championship in 3 attempts or 7/8 years.

The main message is still that Kerry are probably not considered by Dublin's as a genuine threat, Dublin likely see Kerry as team they are now comfortable playing and beating.

A genuine threat or rival is somebody you know you have a genuine chance of losing out to, and I don't think Dublin feel that way about Kerry, especially after last years All Ireland final when a real gulf looked to exist between the sides.
Sure Dublin probably see them as "likely opposition" in late summer and thus they are technically a rival or as much of a threat as any team in Leinster.

You can argue all you want about the specific wording of comments, but ultimately the Butter men can't beat Dublin and have had enough high profile attempts to do so.

I do not think that Kerry wants the League more than Dublin. It would be a terrific achievement for Dublin to win four National League Titles in a row. I think achieving this and possibly one more All-Ireland title would surely ensure that this Dublin team is recognized as one of the truly great teams of Gaelic Football of all time. I think winning the League this year will be extra special with the centenary celebrations taking place and possibly a record attendance for a National League Final.

Wouldn't disagree with that per say, but Kerry have a burning desire to beat us in a big game since 2011, so I guess we're both motivated!

It's 7 seasons Gary, 7 and counting since Kerry beat the Dubs. Since then they have played 3 times with a 1 point defeat, a 7 point defeat in one of the all time classics, and last year's 3 point defeat. They have won the last 3 All-Irelands between them. I detect that you are still a little annoyed about the 2014 final result which is why you don't seem to want to give Kerry any credit and are desperate for someone to say that they see Donegal as the main threat, despite Donegals only notable victory in Croke Park since 2012 being the shock defeat of an incredibly naive Dublin. Since 2012 Donegal have also suffered 2 embarrassments against Mayo and of course the 2014 loss to Kerry.

We can see your attempts to point out that you like to refer to us as Butter men Gary Mc..

No need for the extra bold font to point it out what a smashing comedian you are

Yerra Gaz tried his best all yesterday to row back and make himself look like genuine.

But the mask was pretty quick in slipping.

Nice to be vindicated.

Oh by the way, we also beat Dublin last year in the League Gary.

Lest you have some notion that we haven't beaten them at all since 2011...

Soma - I need your bitter resentment to Donegal has not abated .

Soma - i wouldn't class losing to Mayo in 15 as an embarrasment . Did you see our fixtures last year ?

If we had to play a few division 3& 4 teams and rest key players , I'm sure we would have been fine . We played Tyrone , Derry , Armagh and Monaghan.

At least we are not embarrassed to say where we are from . Your own county must be bad when you can't even name it : now that's quite sad really .

Out of curiosity, let's have a bit of a straw poll for both Dubs and Kingdom lads on here, if you had to list say your top 3 sides (gold silver and bronze, not just 3 in any order) you'd like to beat in a fantasy final, who would they be?

Last years game against Mayo was over 10 minutes into the 2nd half TRS, and Donegal went a long period in that game without a score. For what was billed as a clash between two big guns it was a fairly one-sided affair.
My own county is Lancashire but the UK is the only option available when registering. Despite having a team lose by a single point in last years club All-Ireland junior football final things are not great over here at the moment, you are right about that.

1 Down (just to lance that last boil)
2 Would be between Dublin and Cork: Dublin at the moment because of the last three defeats, but once we start beating them again I'd put Cork up there for a while too.

How are you vindicated? You haven't beaten Dublin in Championship this decade or this current era, and you still consider Kerry to be the Dublin's main rival. That GAA tv show was called "Championship matters" for a reason, that's because within GAA circles, Championship is all that matters. The league is for trying players and tactics out, hardly a real measure of teams championship credentials.

The only challenge Dublin will get out of Kerry this summer, is trying to butter their toast with a block of kerrygold that has been left in fridge overnight.

In fairness to Gary from Derry, I never saw him as a WUM or as someone who's targets certain counties. Is it just because he didn't pay homage to Kerry?

Teams usually only "whinge" when they are losing so the Dubs have set themselves up as a shining example over the last couple of years. Why whinge when everything goes your way. Then lo and behold a game is moved from The Hyde to Carrick and the sky falls in. Talk about pot and kettle. Be careful when you're getting down off that high horse.

Don't think the "butter men" is going to stick as Kerry's nickname any time soon.

That lad can convince himself of anything to suit his own purpose. I wouldn't pay too much attention to him as he told me he had nothing more to say to me and then did the exact opposite.
Made out the site was even conspiring against Kerry because they were allowing some posters have their view and crying about Kerry posters not bothering anymore to come on here and playing the poor us the victims of everything card.
God but it's the world against you all day long with this bloke.
Kerry getting rode by referees was another rant( yeah, can you believe that,I kid you not). Par for the course at this stage.
