Does anybody know how many players from outside Kerry are on their team?

Kerry or how many players they have either in their first team or squad is not the issue in my eyes. My question is what exactly is the rule, does the rule still exist or is it now open to all. I thought I understood the rule when I first looked at it last year but the application of it is not the same as the written form of it in the Rule Book. Therefore I think it is a fair question to ask for clarification from HQ on:

1- is the rule that was in place no longer in place
2 - is the rule in place but now amended i.e. you can still avail of a certain number of 'outside' players but it's not restricted to teams from Div 2 down and not in the McCarthy Cup
3 - Or does anyone really know what the craic is?

I think Kerry have just one or maybe two outside players that they made an exemption for. What's bugging me is that my own county & Roscommon (among others) have 5 outside players on the team. The reality is that these players will always start ahead of local players & will rarely be substituted. They are probably also on big expenses. 3 outside players is enough.
