'Cruyff like' GAA moments

Mulligan Vs the Dubs in 2005 was a magical moment. Also Diarmuid Connelly's goal in the club final a couple of years ago, a special moment from a special player.

John Leahy vs Galway in 2000. Bamboozled Galway defender knocking the ball over his head and scoring a point.
Aidan Ryan 1991 vs Cork scored a cracking goal blocked down 2 defenders before firing past Cunningham.
Did some Clare footballer score an over head kick against Tipp in 1999 or 2000.

I think a post like this shows up one of the flaws in both of our games. Most of the moments mentioned here are scores of one type or another. The Cruyff moment was a piece of skill to beat a man and the ability to do this through skill alone (not athleticism ) is missing on our games. In football the only real version of this is the solo dummy. So who's the best 'thrower' of a dummy around today or indeed the best you've seen?

janesboro. that was more like Roy of the Rovers thrown in with Roy Keane style determination sort of stuff. For me, that is the greatest hurling point scored in the history of the GAA.
Re Cruyff style moment, DJ leaving half the Clare defence on their tod after catching it 3 times, knocking it over the bar, magical.

Catchturnscore Marc O'Se scored an outstanding point on Sunday, selling a dummy solo before nonchalantly kicking it over the bar from 45 metres with the outside of his right boot. Seems to have largely gone without mention but it was a marvellous piece of skill from a lad who plays most of his football at corner back.

needless to say i agree 100% - plus you have the good grace not to mention anything that happened later on in the championship

i dont expect many of ye to remember these, but, Limericks steven kelly in a div 3 league final in croker back in the early 00's scored a point into the hill end from the end line, it was epic
Steven o neill did similar for tyrone v Dubs in league about 7 years ago in croker in the old jerseys

In the 2002 Connacht semi-final against Galway in Castlebar, a guy called Michael Moyles ran in from the throw-in and buried the ball into the top-corner from 35 yards out. There's seemingly no YouTube footage, which is a shame as it was probably the best goal I've ever seen.

speaking of galway, Michael Meehan often did things that only players with that special bit of magic dust could do
Ciaran McDonald was the same.
