Omg padraig Hughes at it again. Clear boot in when Cork player picking the ball up, not given, ball ends up in the net. A joke. shaggylegend (Monaghan) - Posts: 1928 - 30/04/2016 18:33:37 1850964 Link 0 |
Now a yellow card for the cork player for doing the same thing. shaggylegend (Monaghan) - Posts: 1928 - 30/04/2016 18:49:27 1850968 Link 0 |
Keeper should have probably kept the 3rd goal out but fair play to the Mayo player for going for it. Many would have popped it over the bar but he went for it. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13717 - 30/04/2016 18:59:37 1850971 Link 0 |

Black card in the wrong for no 8 of cork. Means Hughes is guaranteed an all Ireland semi final minimum. shaggylegend (Monaghan) - Posts: 1928 - 30/04/2016 19:01:49 1850973 Link 0 |
Super finish! Great flick to the net there! A point in it now. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13717 - 30/04/2016 19:03:00 1850974 Link 0 |

But that's not a black card offence. It's not in the list. He is a poor ref full stop shaggylegend (Monaghan) - Posts: 1928 - 30/04/2016 19:09:28 1850978 Link 0 |

Congrats to Mayo. Goals win matches and Mayo certainly got goals. Our Keeper had a nightmare, poor bloke and that kick out when sides were level will haunt him for a long time. There wasn't a lot between the teams but to the victors the spoils. Very disappointed but that is sport. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 30/04/2016 19:20:12 1850986 Link 0 |

Great game ; when Cork drew level with 14 men i feared the worst for Mayo.Just like their previous victory over Dublin they showed good mental resolve to withstand Cork's brave comeback. Some excellent goal scoring ; delighted for Mayo.Nice to bring an All Ireland back to the county. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 30/04/2016 19:30:50 1850993 Link 0 |
Think you need some valium shaggylegend. Presume you had Cork as the final leg in an 8 team acca ! Mayo better team by far but high balls into the Cork full forward line were a big problem for Mayo. Too many poor wides as well but hey, we won and that's all that matters. ponga (Mayo) - Posts: 650 - 30/04/2016 19:35:27 1850995 Link 0 |
Well done to Mayo but you would have to feel sorry for the Cork keeper whose mistake led to the crucial fourth goal. neverright (Roscommon) - Posts: 1648 - 30/04/2016 19:36:01 1850996 Link 0 |

The Mayo senior team need to look at this U21 team to see what grit and determination can achieve. They dug in when the going got hard and took advantage of a Major Cork mistake Feel bad for the Cork Goalie He'll have nightmares about that kick out for ever cluichethar (Mayo) - Posts: 454 - 30/04/2016 19:59:09 1851008 Link 0 |
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Not many All-Irelands come to us and I will be enjoying myself this evening as a result ;) Commiserations to Cork: the positive will be that you'll probably get a few decent forwards out of that team, particularly Kelleher and Hurley.
