Omg padraig Hughes at it again. Clear boot in when Cork player picking the ball up, not given, ball ends up in the net. A joke.

Now a yellow card for the cork player for doing the same thing.

Keeper should have probably kept the 3rd goal out but fair play to the Mayo player for going for it. Many would have popped it over the bar but he went for it.

Mayo in control now with 16 mins to go. I think they'll see it out.

Black card in the wrong for no 8 of cork. Means Hughes is guaranteed an all Ireland semi final minimum.

Super finish! Great flick to the net there! A point in it now.

Game on!

He threw the Mayo player to the ground well after the ref had already given the free!

But that's not a black card offence. It's not in the list. He is a poor ref full stop

Congrats to Mayo. Goals win matches and Mayo certainly got goals. Our Keeper had a nightmare, poor bloke and that kick out when sides were level will haunt him for a long time. There wasn't a lot between the teams but to the victors the spoils. Very disappointed but that is sport.

Great game ; when Cork drew level with 14 men i feared the worst for Mayo.Just like their previous victory over Dublin they showed good mental resolve to withstand Cork's brave comeback. Some excellent goal scoring ; delighted for Mayo.Nice to bring an All Ireland back to the county.

Think you need some valium shaggylegend. Presume you had Cork as the final leg in an 8 team acca ! Mayo better team by far but high balls into the Cork full forward line were a big problem for Mayo. Too many poor wides as well but hey, we won and that's all that matters.

Well done to Mayo but you would have to feel sorry for the Cork keeper whose mistake led to the crucial fourth goal.

The Mayo senior team need to look at this U21 team to see what grit and determination can achieve. They dug in when the going got hard and took advantage of a Major Cork mistake Feel bad for the Cork Goalie He'll have nightmares about that kick out for ever

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Not many All-Irelands come to us and I will be enjoying myself this evening as a result ;) Commiserations to Cork: the positive will be that you'll probably get a few decent forwards out of that team, particularly Kelleher and Hurley.

Cork will probably rue a few bad kickouts that resulted in Mayo scores, but you have to be able to adjust your gameplan according to the circumstances and the Cork bench was unable to do so. Massive performances from Diarmuid O'Connor, Matthew Ruane, Sharoize Akram and Stephen Coen, I thought. As usual, it looked like we'd kicked another final away when Cork drew level in the third quarter, but this group of players has a special resolve about them and came up with some brilliantly-taken goals when the fat was in the fire.

In the full flush of this win, I hope that I'm allowed to momentarily get ahead of myself and wish that some of these boys emulate their All-Ireland underage success at senior level!
