Well done Roscommon

Of course Rossie fans should enjoy their win over kerry but people from other counties congratulating them? Come on.It seems to be fellow Dubs who are the culprits too.
Any Roscommon man I know wants to see the Rossies winning trophies in particular the Sam, they are not impressed by being patted on the head by us Dubs cos they beat kerry in what will ultimately be a pretty meaningless game.

Thanks for the well done lads the win and manner of it made my long trek to Killarney very worthwhile.

Condor, we were also weakened more so than Kerry actually. We had to bounce back after injury time home defeat to Monaghan from which our own error cost us two points. Last Sunday very little was going for us did you see the goal Kerry got? 2nd half we had to play against the gale wind a point down.

Meaningless game? For a start we have 2 league points on the board. The objective for us in our remaining league games is to stay in this division and if our lads display the same determination passion and guts in those games as shown in Killarney we will go a long way to achieving that objective.

Basically Condorman everyone has disagree with you including the Roscommon posters so I'd leave it at that pal.

Dave Roscommon were missing 12 players that played in the championship last season plus Kilroy who started against Monaghan and that not to mention Corocan and Comption who probably would have played in the championship last season if available. I know Kerry were missing players and probably not up to speed yet but the media and some on here ignored we were missing players and we were giving a hope going down there. Anyways moving on a tough league ahead. By the way Donegalman was the other thread not negative enough for you and the rubbish you wrote about Roscommon been a dirty team.

I seem to remember Dublin beating Kerry in Kerry in a 1st rd league match think it was 2010. Anyway 1st time dubs by Kerry in about 30 yrs and pat Gilroy referred to it as an important step for the team.

Back in 2000 when Kerry where All Ireland champions, Louth traveled down to Kilarney to face them in the league. It was only a few weeks after the All Ireland final. This was the time the league started in November. Kerry only started with some of the players that won Sam. It was Louth's first match in the top flight in over thirty years. Louth came away with a one point victory. Whats rare is wonderful. Well done to the Rossies.

Great win today for the Rossies. Unfortunately, for us, Easter Sunday in the Hyde is shaping up to be a game to avoid relegation and Roscommon will be definitely staying up. It'll be some game.

Looking forward to the trip to Roscommon for our last game. Been too long since I was there. Hopefully both teams will be happy enough by then and we can have a rare but great weekend together :D
