I regard my self duly chastised & humiliated in Div 2, but in my new Zen like peacefulness, I will refrain from expressing my disappointment that I am being "looked after" by a Dub.

The shame of it!!

why can't everyone be in the one division. you just get zero points if you fail to predict.

Goldrick there is a lot work with 21 as it is. If you want to do 29 people in one division be my guest.

Cheers Ollie.

It's a tough task. I tried initiating a similar competition last year for the Championship. After initial enthusiasm it kind of fell over after a few weeks!
Maybe the admins could set up something for the Championship this year? It wouldn't be all that difficult or expensive from an IT point of view, Get a sponsor on board to provide a nice wee prize at the end!

Can I be added to Division 2 or possibly Division 3 as I'm only new to this prediction game and need to be given time to settle in. I don't want to be taking a hiding every week from the big boys in Division 1!!

Ollie, stick to the plan.Tis a great idea.Don't mind any whingers. The League is a better format than the championship to do this.16 games each weekend with evenly matched teams going head-to-head.The championship is way to spread out.Couple matches one weekend.Hurling the next etc.And a lot of the earlier provincial rounds and qualifiers are mind numbingly predictable. This League competition will end when the final whistle goes on the Div 1 final.Your doin trojan work ollie.

Fecking elitists - could have run it on a % basis so that if you miss a week then it doesn't mean you are out of the running e.g. after week 2 you had correctly predicted 26 of the 32 games in round 1 and 2 you have a % of 81.3% predicted correct. You miss round 3 but in round 4 you get 10 meaning you have 36 correct of the 48 games leaving you on 75%. Whereas if you predicted all 4 weeks and had 49 out of the 64 you would be on 76.6%. Could then use the amount of overall games predicted to separate in the event of a tie i.e. two end up on 83% but one predicted all weeks while the other missed 2 weeks then the one with the more predictions wins. Naysayer runs the Antrim Club leagues predictions over on the Antrim forum like this and it works a treat.

Instead it's suggested that those who missed out on the first week don't get a back door but instead get straight in to a Tommy Murphy Prediction Championship. What next - if you are a woman you aren't allowed to attend the stoning! Well keep your poxy predictions league to yourselves - hope your homes get raided by those who are investigating Blatter et al and you run out of funding for it. I'm off to join the Qatar GAA NFL 2016 Prediction competition.
