I think Armagh need to get more bodies forward in attack, that said they should be too powerful for Laois.

I reckon Derry fans get very frustrated, not too long ago they reached the dv1 final, only to have an early summer and lose to Longford.

your right Seadog96 i think we could snatch it against them. theyll find it hard to break us down but it will be a very tight game.

Taken all into consideration, retirements, those who have chosen not to make themselves available , and injuries, the Meath team named for Sunday is about 2 short of the best 15 we have available, so I would expect a victory even if not a easy one. The great news is that graham Reilly is fit and able to play he was surely missed last week for those long range scorers.

Armagh will struggle in this years campaign, the team that played meath last week being realistic 6/15 will start first game of the championship. Our defending is great, midfield usually good, half forward line some of who are dangerous and have great score taking ability but our full forward line is far from good enough and is one of the main reasons we lost last week against Meath because of the strong wind against us in 2nd half disabling our options of long range shooting. Cant see us getting many goals at all this year when we cant get the ball near the posts. Still think we will beat laois tonight as of thm getting trashed last week and us having a good record against laois..they hate coming up to us.

Laois again prove to be an enigma in beating Armagh away from home. Nearly every poster backed Armagh to win this one.

Armagh are a poor shadow of what they were a few years back. Now they are just in amongst the also rans of Ulster and struggling against relegation to Div 3.

Great win for Laois tonight not an easy place to go and win, as always great to see to see plenty of comment on the pages not giving laois a chance

2 out of 2. Will take that. Hard fought but a good platform to hopefully push on from.

Great win for Derry tonight, this time 12 months ago we would have buckled and lost the game.
Great character shown by all.
Cavan very unlucky two weeks in a row and maybe deserved more from both games.

Laois were without John O'Loughlin, Colm Begley and Ross Munnelly . Good to see ex Celtic Paul Cahillane back after missing that free in the Leinster club final. Armagh missing a few as well.

Armagh very naive, no sweeper against a gael force wind allowed Laios the space to win the game.

Armagh were terrible last night, deserved to get beat. Mcgeeney needs to think of a more reliable system and his selection choices, i assure you that theres a better 15 in armagh that were choose to represent last night. Armagh yet to beat a team in the first two divisions in Mcgeeneys reign..definitely relegation is on the cards.

What was derry vs cavan like last night?

looking at Armagh now iit shows what the so called experts n analysts know
a lot of them were all tipping Armagh to make a big impact in 2015/2016
but I coudnt see where this was coming from
after all they had been relegated to div 3 in season before
and were coming from that base
well we all know whats happened since
