I'm looking for feedback from posters who attended games. What games were good this season ? Did any teams or players impress?

Being to most Cavan games. Players from a Cavan perspective that impressed were Killian Clarke and Johnston (hate to admit that one). Gearoid McKiernan being Cavan's best player. An absolute beast on the 40. Evan O Carroll impressive for Laois the weekend. Looks to have great potential.

ya I was impressed with McKiernan myself when I seen him play, also the general structure and workrate of Tyrone, they are very well coached.

Was at every Fermanagh game this year. No Fermanagh players shone very brightly, although Lyons on sunday looked the part. Best I've seen so far would be McKiernan of Cavan or Shane Walsh of Galway (even though he only lasted one half)

SJ is grabbing the headlines for Cavan but Gearoid McKiernan is the real playmaker, well, him and the other 13 lads all pulling hard in the same direction...

Evan of Carroll of laois is a sensational Ayer on an average team would be talking to some of the laois lads and they said tomas corrigan of fermanagh is best they faced

He had a good day that Sunday but wouldn't say he's anything special.

I do believe it will be Tyrone and Cavan competing in the sweet nectar that is Devision 1 football next year. On the other side of the spectrum I see Armagh overcoming Derry because Derry have nothing to play for which in my opinion leaves Fermanagh and Laois at the bottom of the barrel come Sunday evening.
My opinions on the Cavan vs Galway game are completely bias so i'm saying home advantage will see us through....maybe....just...

Agree with Steady that Cavan will do enough, Galway have disappointed (again). Cavan have been the revelation of this division. Would also agree that Armagh will probably survive, they seem to be improving and It's a total non-event for Derry. Fermanagh are in trouble if Meath and Armagh win. Their game is another case of a non-event for Tyrone, so expect Fermanagh to get something. It's a case of the best bad team between Meath and Laois, honestly have no idea how this will go. Put simply, a Meath win secures Div 2. With the way we've played so far, I have very little confidence in getting a result. From the games I've seen, the 3 worst teams in this Division are on the bottom.

Tyrone promoted at a canter
Cavan to surprise a few in second after losing Rd1, with Derry pushing them

Laois, Galway, Armagh mid-table

Relegation
Fermanagh and Meath

Monaghan to sink like a stone from Div 1, Down relegated also
Div 3 looks weak enough so an easy promotion for Kildare, maybe Longford to go close too

Almost there- Laois look like ruining a €2208 payout!

Armagh very unlucky, disappointing to go down after reaching 6 points looks like the Cavan game was our biggest downfall. Ahh well hopefully we will bounce straight back up.

It was a poor Div2 in all honesty with Tyrone comfortably ahead of the pack and Cavan finding their shooting boots to finish a well deserved 2nd.

Laois weren't up to scratch at all and deserved to go but the other relegation place could easily have went to Derry, Meath, Fermanagh or even to a lesser extent Galway. The standard of those teams are well well below Div1 and if any of them were to be promoted they would surely drop straight back down, like Down did this year.

agree with Htaem..

Tyrone walked it in reality,Cavan turned on the style and the rest of the teams were ordinary with Laois been very poor.

If we were playing this weekend I would fancy our chances alright.

Laois look in very disorganised the new coach seems to have the team all over the place despite having a lot of his top players back for the first time in years...

They conceded more than anyone else in any league which is worrying...If they scrape over Wicklow thats a big if ....God knows what the Dubs will do to them in Nolan park it could be like a Hurling score the Cats would put up down there!

I thought Lillis would be a good manager for Laois after his club success in Laois and especially in Carlow.

credit_crunch (Armagh)- Could not agree that you were unlucky. Ye were very lucky to beat Fermanagh and with good ref it would have been other way around- seen it on tv
