@S Goldrick - I meant Divison 4 hurling! Don't take life too seriously.

Should be an interesting weekend. This division is going to come down to the wire on both promotion and relegation. I think Derry can still do enough to go back up with Tyrone.

Ok let me be quite clear, I have made my position on mick o'dowd very clear on any page I have been on, I believe his position is untenable. However as a Meath supporter through and through I will be.going to navan tomorrow and cheering on the team and hoping they win .
However I was up home this week and the amount of people who want us to get beat (Meath supporters) is worrying. They believe this will hurry up the removal of management. I just find that hard to take, how can anyone want their team to loose? It beggars belief .
Let me be quite clear again , i want to see a change of management but i will never hope Meath lose a game to facilitate that.

No true supporter would ever want to see their county lose RD, I'm at a loss to understand the mindset of these people.

Agree with you RD here, under no circumstances would I ever want Meath beat, regardless of who the manager is or what the setup is like.I will be there tomorrow, but sadly I can't see us winning..

Brend and ziggy that is what surprised me, I know some of these people all my life, now ok one of them has stopped going to games due to his opposition to management but still I cant understand it .
Its never my view and never will be

Kind of expected from Meath today.Alot of huff and puff from Meath, but tactically outplayed.Tyrone won while playing in second gear. Some odd decisions from management again today, but thats expected too..

Sounds like a crazy game in Portlaoise. Laois scoring 1-22 so obviously are very capable in attack but 5-10 conceded?? Hard to know what to expect when they visit Breffni in 2 weeks

Ziggy until we get Andy mc in we going nowhere. My number one fear is that damage will be so bad we will not redeem ourselves.

I would expect a Cavan win,who now have a great chance for promotion.

Thats if McEntee would take the job.He would want certain conditions and the county board may not be willing..

Imo the cb are in no position to argue, they are the ones who let this farce continue this year when everyone knew it shouldn't have.
I feel Andy will take it, once Wednesday is over is the time to approach him and indeed make mod aware of this, whatever Andy wants and whatever conditions he feels are necessary should be met without questions. If not the CB should be voted out in a motion of no confidence.

But the county board have been at this for years. As it stands MOD has two years now and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets those two years. We played Tyrone in his first year in charge and we are further from them now, than we were then.

I'd like to see Andy McEntee get the job as well but I'd caution that we're in such a bad state that it may not make a huge difference. Also the County Board are the ones who whisked MOD back into the job and shut down any talk of a vote so they're just as responsible and must go also of MOD goes, they're credibility is shot.

The concern is that the county board will not admit to their mistkes or bite the bullet. We sound like broken records, but then again thats what the management is.

Laois and Derry must have very mixed feelings. Laois score 1-22 but let 5 goals in. Also well done to Armagh for bouncing back.

must have been a breath of fresh air that Laois/Derry game.

I have to say,the referee today gave some very soft frees to Tyrone and Meath today. At one stage Tyrone won a free and a Tyrone lad close to me said,"You can't actually make a tackle" Some good tackles from both teams today resulted in frees against them.

The ref gave a couple of soft frees to both teams but in general he was ok. Didn't ruin quite an open game. Tyrone played well. Meath have work to do to stay up.....need a couple of scoring forwards. Easy saying that right enough.....every county could do with some.
I see Derry and Loais drew.....Derry conceded 1-22 and 2-15 in their last two games....must be a worry.

Htaem I tried to say that on Meath forum but it was not allowed. The CB must resign too, they have no credibility and have proven they not up to the job, a extraordinary general meeting is what is required for the immediate removal of all members of CB and mod. Enough is enough.

I thought Tyrone took some super scores actually. With Meath,I'm not sure why we were so static when coming at Tyrone, whereas Tyrone always had runners off the ball.Tyrone had the cuteness.
