Atgacliath. Would have to agree with you. But not because of bias. Just tye fact he had very limited knowledge of football in county and as you said the likes of O'Rourke McEntee Cassells etc were knocking around a fair few years and achieve nothing, he got them to buy into his unorthodox methods and made them household name, then when they all retired to do it again with a bunch of kids, particularly 96, when Carlow were fav to beat them in Leinster first rd to go on and overturned the 10 piunt defeat to dubs from previous year. Was unbelievable and all this from a hurling man who never managed football previous. By some distance the best.

Lads,I not suggesting Roscommon will become world beaters overnight and the Connaught title is Mayo's to loose this year again but I think Mc Stay will bring the challenge more so than Walsh's charges will over the next couple of years and wouldn't be surprised if they pulled off a shock if Mayo slip back a bit. Don't think Galway are making progress at the minute.

Pete McGrath is after picking up two good wins this year already! Will McStay deliver with a promising Roscommon squad? Personally, I think they will win the Connaught title. I think Terry Hyland will deliver a county title for our boys too :)
