Keegan is best half back in country. Could play midfield. Not a forward shooting lets him down at vital moments in tight games. Bryan Sheehan and Johhny Buckley are most skilful palyers in my book. Ian Ryan of Limerick too ,always a handful for our backs too WilliePower12 (Australia) (Dublin)
So does Diarmuid Connolly's, in fact he has missed more big scoring opportunities than keegan in his time. Actually, there isn't a player on this list who hasn't missed a scoring chance in a big game, Bryan Sheehan included. So they are all guilty of what you are saying about keegan. I don't think you can really point the finger at keegan then can you? Not fairly anyway.
Keegan has the most complete skillset, that makes him the most skilful player. That is the bottom line. Some people seem to be confusing skill with very good scorers. Scoring isn't the only skill in the game. If that is the case then Cillian O'Connor would be the most skilful player in the game. So basically take your pick.
The Question asked was who is the most skillfull , NOT who has the full skillset , The full skill set thing reminds me of a jack of all trades master of none scenario . Gooch cant defend or rather hes not great at it , still one of the most skillfull Ive ever seen , In a soccer scenario theres many things Messi can not do , but Christ don't tell me he needs the full skill set before hes considered the most skilfull
