Top 5 hurlers from each county

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Funnily enough 2 of my top 5 hurlers for Dublin would have 2 that play football!

1. Keaney
2. Ciaran Kilkenny (Unreal Hurler)
3. Dotsy
4. Diarmo Connolly (Again Unreal)
5. Mark Schutte

All very subjective really.. but having seen Kilkenny and Connolly in action at club level for hurling, they are serious talents.. I think Kilkenny would prob be number 1 only he doe snot play inter county level

Although it's before my time, I understand Laois could just have easily made the breakthrough that offaly did in 81, and it was a wrongly allowed goal by Johnny Flaherty that denied them. They had some great hurlers in the 80s and 90s, and mean enough too

Always amazes me how many people say Adrian Fenlon from Wexford.

Damien Fitzhenry, Larry O'Gorman, Rory McCarthy, Tom Dempsey, Declan Ruth - in my opinion, for skill over the last 25 years.

Ice Adrian fenlon in my pinion is the biggest loss and hardest to replace. No better man to keep a ball moving. It's not about his scores. It's about his importance to the team in my opinion.
