Irish Forward Line!

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Finally we will see what a forward line of Brogan O'Shea and McManus will look like , definitely something to look forward to ,
would have been interesting to see Sean Quigley and Eoin Donnelly in there too

Honestly just hoping nothing happens to any of our players, Graham Geraghty was a hard enough man, they pulled him around the place like a rag-doll!

i see a lot of advertising about this rubbish..it would answer them better to spend the money advertising the leagues a bit more and forget this folly..

Lots of negative comments here. If these player didnt want to play they wouldnt. Simple as that. If i was offered a chance to play for my country in any code at any level I would take it!!!

Having been to games in Melbourne and Dublin I can say the atmosphere is great and the craic is mighty

My biggest shock from the squad is no Chrissy McKaigue

I'll never understand why people complain about these series. Don't watch if you don't like. Players want to play in them and I'd say they more than pay for themselves.

Last year the Aussies picked their strongest squad in a long time and their sheer pace and physicality shocked Ireland. The Irish however finished strongly and I'd say given it's their off season we should have a fitness advantage. I thought O'Shea and Murphy struggled badly last year and looked ponderous. Great to see a good representation from the All Ireland champions. This should strengthen our chances.

I hope Kieran Hughes gets a run at this he is a joy to watch.

the aussie would eat him for breakfast without salt, no room for strutting about in this game..power any day of the week

Yeh nearly forgot the scrapping, wasn't sure whether golf was a sport or just something you do when you're over the hill :)

I'm surprised Kingston isn't on the team. He's 6' 5" great fielder of the ball, would have given the Aussies all sorts of problems.

The 3 lads up top all had great games some great scores from them all and all very clever footballers i would say they all loved playing with each other { pardon the pun } if this series is going to stay especially without the fighting then you will see all top players begging to play and thats what we want.
