It is a great appointment for Clare, Donal Og is a great communicator, that is a skill which will surely be put to the test with Clare.

Two unhinged bluffers on the sideline. Clare continue to squander a generation of talent. No AI until one or both are gone

If Davy is serious about Clare hurling why didn't he bring Daly in? Both are massive Clare men why couldn't they work together for the betterment of Clare hurling? Wouldn't agree? Different tactics? Let's hear it lads. Surely both their aims would be the same .... An All Ireland... Now hurling is not that technical that they couldn't agree

When it comes to having passion and voices on the sideline then Clare will have it all in 2016. It wont win matches though.

i'm really curious to see how this will work out.. i've witnessed Davey losing the plot on the sideline enough times to consider he needs all the help he can get..he gets too worked up, too angry and is a liabilty to Clare at this stage.
what will Donal og bring to the mix? Davey will still be the boss whoever is beside him. Talking tactics on the Sunday game is a lot different from making a decision in real time..

Awwwnow,

Daly isn't going to play second fiddle to another manager at this stage of his career. He's already managed Clare. Plus he's committed to Limerick.
