Worst and Best County Forums on HS

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Some counties forums are so active and full of discussion. Some are dead as dodos!!

Worst are Waterford, Kilkenny, Offaly, Laois, Carlow, Tyrone

Best are Limerick, Meath, Wexford

Notable mentions- my own county, Sligo, Galway, Mayo, Kildare, Donegal

A lot of guys/girls post on different forums when they want real discussion about club and county. Res Dubs is the Dublin one. Kerry and Cork have very active ones also.
HS has too many guys, mine own county has at least 2 who just Wum. No real football discussion just looking to wind guys up and get told that they really reeled them in with that one. Very childish at times.

I frequent Wexford,Dublin and Limerick. Always knowledgeable people up for a good discussion. This is hurling now mind. Anywhere else I've been are ghost towns.

The Antrim one is an eye-opener, some bitter rivalries they have there (in hurling). Wexford has a load of lads who can't spell, who you never see on the main board. Good to read though. Worst is cork, maybe similar to other counties who have a strong forum outside hs. I wouldn't go near limerick or clare, after how tiresome they used to be on the fearrrua

Our own is pretty good, especially considering how strong resdubs is. I prefer the discussions here, but ressers is great for results

Cork one is terrible. County Final on there today. Castlehaven 0-10 Nemo Rangers 0-10. From the Cork forum you'd never know it was on! Hurling final last week. Sars dethroned. Nothing on that forum about it.

indeed Flack, its embarrassing to read some of the pathetic bickering between a few North Antrim lads who unfortunately use HS as a backyard wrestling arena to show us how pathetic their rivalry can get. The same posters are rarely if ever on the main page forum because they wouldn't know a thing about the county scene from any part of the country.

Kerry have a good football forum and Dublin are good for both football and hurling. Last I checked, Armagh had tumbleweeds blowing through their page but haven't visited it for a while to be fair.

Meath forum is very lively, now granted its mostly football, but some hurling.
Also i think certain people view hs as a Meath forum that we allow others use. If you get my meaning

I got to know the pages as I fancy a flutter on club games. Some people are deadly for predictions. Limerick page never far wrong. Meath lads can tip too. Wexford and Sligo couldn't tip rubbish into a skip.

Meath forum is very good. There's a guy on their predicts pretty much every championship game from k senior to junior, he's a decent record, not sure if he'd beat the bookies though.

Antrim forum is bad. I'd be more of a football fan and there's very little posted about that at all.

The hurling rivalry could be really bad for the county team. I'd say there's a load of politics in that.

Galway by far and away the most active, and can get quite nasty as well in hurling, football and ladies football discussions. Sad

Whammo that's glenny or as he calls himself glenny the great :). He is a daddies club supporter, actually we have quite a few lads who do perditions, some weeks very accurate, i don't partake myself but i sometimes have a flutter and it has paid off.

If their forum is any reflection on the situation in Antrim, it's clear why they don't get anywhere, in spite of all the hurlers they have up there, see the slaughneil thread as well for more internal bashing

Down's page is mostly hurling interestingly enough. Few boys on the Mayo page decent with predictions at good odds too. I remember a called called The Neale a few weeks back unfancied won well.
