Dubs on the road?

Super dub if you've no counter argument then don't waste your time replying.

When things were on an even playing field resource wise meath and Kildare could compete. Dublin are at a professional level and it's no longer possible or feasible for anyone in leinster to compete. On any given year you you'll get the next best 2 competing.

Kerry who are the Killkenny of football and most likely mayo.

So don't be listing teams that can compete when in reality Dublin don't get a contest from anybody until they get into the last 4 and play the best 3 of the rest.

It's not fair and in meath who you call one of the best leinster GAA counties outside of Dublin in leinster, the general public no longer get worked up about inter county gaa. People see the reality, the inequality and the massive advantages Dublin have.

The 10/11 leinsters and league domination. Nobody cares anymore because we know Dublin will win 10/11 future leinsters at least. With public interest at an all time low and the opposite in Dublin the gap is getting wider.

Inter county football in leinster is dead and it ain't coming back until Dublin stop playing the 10 minnows every year.

I think we have to remember this is not a Dublin issue, this isnt the fault of Dublin GAA, they need to be seperated from the issue at hand. Dublin GAA are going to take whatever funding is offered to them, they would be foolish not to and good luck to them, down in Wexford i would expect us to do the same. Dublin GAA should only worry about Dublin GAA.

But it is a huge issue, at the very basic level you just need to look at the availability of coaches in Dublin and in other counties throughout Leinster and the rest of the country.

This is an issue of the GAA's making and no one else. The GAA decided the financially prudent approach was to ensure Dublin GAA was strong, a strong Dublin team packing Croke Park every day they play is quids in for the GAA, the problem is thats not whats going to happen because of lack of compettition.

This is not Dublins problem this is all the fault of HQ, already you see Dubs games in Croke Park not selling out anymore and its going to get to the stage when not even the Leinster Finals will fill the place.

The question is what will HQ do?

GAA is dying a death in lots of counties because whats there for kids to aspire, a chance to sacrifice yourself for ridicule in front of the Hill while enduring a drubbing, what kid aspires for that?

I see it in my own county that rugby is making huge strides, when i grew up not a single kid i grew up with played Rugby, now at every level underage in my Club there are loads and the numbers are increasing. As a young fella it was great to be brought to Croke Park, the last time Wexford played Dublin in football my young fella decided he didnt want to go, "sure we will only get hammered dad" yet the odd time i bring him to the Aviva or the RDS he cant get enough of it.

There is no fairness in the GAA at the minute, thats a fact, the rich get richer and the others struggle, that will continue until HQ do something about it, its nothing to do with Dublin, not their problem, its a GAA problem
