Will Monaghan get a preliminary round this year - must feel left out not having had a preliminary round at senior level for 12 years and at U21 for 7 years?

Be careful what you wish for fella ;)

Well I'd wish not to get a preliminary round again - we've had 5 preliminary rounds since Monaghan last had one at senior level.

Teams that played in previous years prelim round as well as Ulster finalists should be exempt imo of being drawn in the prelim the following year....joke of a situation

Does seem strange - in those 12 years Down have played 4 preliminary rounds all away, Cavan have played 5, Donegal, Tyrone & Armagh 3 each and all others 2 except for Monaghan who have played none. Minors obviously have the same while U21 has Derry playing 5 prelimiary rounds, Cavan & Armagh 2 and the rest 1 since Monaghan last played a preliminary round.

This is another reason why the Provincial championships must not be part of the AI series - too lobsided.

Would like to get monghan in clones in the first round. We could take up from where we left off the last day. Anything but another prelim round. 3 in 5 years is pretty senseless on behalf of the ulster council to allow.

Same rigged draw for the same predictable competition on the same biased TV channel. Amateur indeed.

The Munster Football draw should be interesting. Think from now on its an open draw!!

Cork v Kerry Quarter Final would be great!!!

To avoid that 'mistake' happening, Cork and Kerry will be placed in different coloured balls....games in May ...sorry don't think so!...they are for Ulster teams and Division 4 teams... A Munster Final is an annual event where Kerry beat Cork in Killarney on the first Sunday in July...its great craic too! Now away with ya and stop ruining our buzz..

Ill say it clear, i want same side as Dublin, semi final. Sick to teeth of complacency on other side which like this year can bite you bad. Dubs would focus minds.

Have just seen the draw for hurling championship. Tough draw for Tipp, back in a quarter final. Have to say, the Leinster draw looks very lopsided, kilkenny/Dublin/Wexford on one side, with Galway, Laois and the qualifer teams on the other. Seems unbalanced.

Ulster Side 1: Tyrone v Derry, Armagh v Cavan.

Ulster Side 2: Down v Monaghan, Donegal v Antrim/Fermanagh.

I'm very happy with the hurling draw.

Ulster football also very good.

Munster leinster and connaught, hard to get excited for obvious reasons.
