Cheers Flack. Third time lucky for the girls after losing out in 2010 and 2012 and their first championship title since 1999. There won't be a house cleaned for a week in the Wee County. (I am gonna be slaughtered for saying this).

Dublin's 2 most hated face off.
They put all that pretending to like each other to one side and knock lumps out of one another.

Upsets on the double in Roscommon SFC Semis with Brigids being toppled by the noisy neighbours, Clann na Gael and Pearses overcoing a hotly fancied Roscommon Gaels. Few saw that Brigids / Clann result as the feeling was there was another year or two in the Brigids side and Clann still a bit fresh.

So now , its a tale of the two Currans in the final with Shane and Paul respective managers for Pearses and Clann. For those who dont know their South Roscommon geography, Pearses are the Roscommon side of Ballinasloe and Clann the Roscommon side of Athlone and they meet in the middle so wont be a lot of love lost in the final.

Definitely a changing of the guard and will be a lot of reconstruction required at Brigids after a phenomenal run.

On Sunday its the Senior football final in Drogheda between St Patricks from Lordship and Sean O Mahoneys from Dundalk in an all North Louth affair. St Patricks are captained by the great Paddy Keenan and are looking for title number seven since they made their break through in 2003. They have only lost one final in that time. While on the other hand the Sean O Mahoneys are appearing in their first ever Senior final. The Dundalk side won the Inter Championship last year and could make history if they win to become the first side in the Wee County to win back to back Inter/Senior titles. Tomorrow night in Haggardstown sees the Inter replay final between Kilkerely Emmets and Clan na Gael.
