Unfortunately Philly has let himself and the association down badly again. Gaelic football is becoming a game that tolerates this. You'd get more decency out of Diego Costa.

Dublin were the better team yesterday and most definitely deserved their All Ireland but what McMahon did was disgraceful and should not be tolerated. He quite clearly tried to stick a finger in Donaghy's eye and if we look at any other sport this kind of thing either does not happen or it is severely punished. You can say that we are bitter or that we are looking for something to complain about but for one of the best defenders in the country to resort to such a dangerous and disgusting act in a All Ireland final is appalling and if McMahon gets away with it it is setting a very poor example for every young boy and girl across the country playing gaelic football. Time for the GAA to act.
