Breaking News !! McDonald & Mortimer late addition

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Breaking news from an undisclosed source in Mayo has confirmed that the Ciaran McDonald & Conor Mortimer have been added to the mayo camp travelling to Dublin to take on the mighty Dubs!!

However it is not believed that the delightful duo will be included in the Playing Squad their role is believed to be that of Hair Advisors. It is now believed that the entire Mayo Sqaud with the exception of Tom Cunnife will be sporting "Corn Row" platted hair styles in an effort to counteract the sinister development that has arisen with news that Jim Gavin has added to his extensive backroom team by attaining the services of Ciaran Hughes in the capacity of Hair Ruffling advisor

This development is believed to be a last gasp desperation attempt by the Dublin Supremo in an effort to disrupt the Breaffy beast and his fierce foot soldiers from the battallions of the northern empire !!!

It is to combat the dubs pulling their hair. They are also donning shinpads to counteract the dubs kicking their shins.

I can smell the fear from here. Don't worry Cue, at least you won't have far to travel home on Sunday evening.

All this bravado Mayo men will not matter a jot come Sunday when the teams are marching in the parade. It is only then that the penny will drop for quite a few.The magnitude of the occassion will result in quivering nerves, furrowed brows and rubbery knees. The pre match beer will start acting up.The burgers & hotdogs will work their magic. It is after all,our city, and no Mayo man will be allowed forget that fact. The realisation will dawn, and before long, plans of early exits and escape routes will spread around all stands like a horrific version of the Mexican wave.In tandem, the hill will be in full voice, feeding off the oxygen of another Dublin goal.Aghh this is going to be good.

Cuederocket is getting cranky, 'its our city' think ye might want to check the census, majority of the people living in the city are from overseas or country people sure Bernard and Alan Brogan grandfather was born and raised in Mayo and I won't mention how many Meath, Kildare and Wicklow people are living in Dublin, oh by the way who built yer town, wasn't many in the sky blue colours, it was and is country people. Anyway never mind the negativity enjoy the game, we will as it's hopefully the first bit of sunshine we will see all year so far

Worked well for Tyrone with their beards a few years ago.

Who's to say, this might well be the extra factor that gets the men from the Céide Fields over the line!!

Haven't all us Dubs been saying that for years now every time someone b*tches about our population size and recommends splitting us in 2?! Thanks for agreeing with us :)
