If Mayo don't win Sam this year...

How so Barnowl? Are we not a top 3 team. Have we not won 2 sams in recent years. 3 leagues in a row. Countless Leinster titles. Define your definition of overhyped and overated?

Unfortunately I have a feeling this could be Mayo's year. I've heard they're working hard on the Heimlich Manoeuvre in training.

Ha ha. very clever.

I don't like mondays especially on HS, but next monday should be fun no matter who wins.

They wont for a very long time to come.

Everyone is expectant.

The country awaits the clash of number 2 and 3 in the country.

Most will be wanting a Mayo victory. Understandable.

Mayo without doubt have an insatiable hunger.

But their opponents this weekend wont be fazed in the slightest.

We've been there.

We've done it.

We've won the big one twice in the last 4 years by the smallest of margains.

We've nothing to prove to anyone and this team goes out on sunday under no pressure whatsoever.

Even alot of our fans on here expect Mayo to win. (I don't though)

The weight of the world is on your shoulders.

Its time to deliver Mayo.

Doing it against Donegal in a half empty stadium against an aging team is one thing.

Doing it against Dublin is another type of test..

We're ready, Are you ?

Sink or Swim boys.

This is your time, Have you the bottle ?

Very lazy post. Donegal are not an ageing team, we have one of the youngest squads in the country. yes like every other county a few lads have just passed 30 but teh bulk of squad are relatively young.....

Hahaha wayno, did you write this on your barstool?
I really thought mayo would win in 2 years ago. They have to sooner or later, only have to win 2 serious matches (like ourselves) these days, they really have to make hay while Galway are shaite

I dont believe mayo bottled in 2012/2013. Even though they were favourites it was sideline that let them down not players

2012
put a rookie corner back Kevin Kane on Murphy
Failure to bring on Ritchie Feeney/Jason gibbons earlier in game

2013
failed to notice Dublin playing with 13 players for last 10 minutes
taking off Al Freeman
fail to use impact sub Ritchard Feeney

@stato32 - are you sure you aren't me in disguise? I agree with everything you say.

Anyway, the past is the past. Mayo have moved on but so have the other teams.
Dublin & Kerry are the 2 best teams in the country (over the last 6 or 7 years) and if we manage to beat them we will really have earned our All Ireland the hard way.

If we don't win then we'll be back for more next year.

It's great to be looking forward to an all ireland semi final at the end of August. 80,000+ in Croker. Bring it on
