Kerry and referees

Shane Enright must play games with a four leaf clover in his shorts, between yesterday and last years semi final I just don't understand how he stays on the pitch!

I felt sorry for Ronan McNamee, tackles like that go in in Hurling the whole time and it's considered regular play!

Yes I agree that Enright should have got a black card and the one Tyrone got should have been yellow. Tyrone also should have had a red card for the tackle on Cooper. The ref was spot on for the penalty decision .The Tyrone player held onto O'Mahoneys jersey and went down looking for it. Its a known feature of Ulster football these days.

Its obvious that Brolly only gives credit to Ulster teams and cant take it when they are beaten. He looks for excuses and the ref is the usual suspect with him. The better team won yesterday and most Tyrone fans I met after the match acknowledged this.

Kingdom boy it is not against the rules to take a kick out without the tee. Don't be daft. Kerry have mastered the dark arts of cynical play but we are not allowed to say anything bad about the glorious Kingdom.

Sunday game showed your man dived and was playing for the penalty....Deegan should be credited for a great decision.
Enright should have got a black card but again we listen that Kerry only won because of the ref...zzzzzzz

It's scary how much the refs favour Kerry.

A lot of people think I am anti Kerry. And yes there is a certain "bitterness" in what I accuse Kerry of. But what I can't get my head around is the sheer unsportsmanship of Kerry and the media for example when Tyrone and Armagh won their All Irelands back in the 90's. They won them fair and square, like Kerry did yesterday, but a Kerry led media campaign poured scorn and heaped abuse on them. To a lesser extent also when Cork won also a few years ago. Finally Kerry men have always led the campaign for Dublin to be split into 2- when they won their All Irelands.
So Kerry lads- this is kind of payback for that sour grapes!!! Split Kerry into 2.

I'd be interested to know who these Kerrymen are. Why would we want to beat half of Dublin when we are well capable of beating all of Dublin?

Bit annoyed at the result but will not be blaming the ref at all. So he got a few decisions wrong. It was a crap day and he was trying to ref a game in which diving and feigning injury to get other players sent off / black carded has become common place. Tyrone could have won by taking their chances but we seem to have lost the art of scoring the vital goal at the right time.

On another note, a couple of things which have really annoyed me lately and in my opinion could easily be changed for the better of the game as a spectacle:

1. All frees must go forward. The amount of times frees were kicked backwards... I think at one point Tyrone kicked a free 30 - 40 yards back to their keeper!

2. Any, and I mean any, talking back to the ref which X yards.

Termon in Tyrone - 2 very good points and both easily implemented.

On the latter, I'd go even further to address a sore in our sport. Any player says anything to the red at all, no exceptions and the opposition are given a scoreable free or an improved free etc plus the player is yellow carded. Same goes for the sideline staff. The only way to sort out ref abuse for once and for all. A game or two of multiple cards and being penalised heavily on the score board wouldn't be long changing the culture!

I love how all of the other countys are chipping into this thread and the Tyrone fans have little to complain about bar our misfiring on the day. Deegan had a decent game, yes McNamee and Enrights cards were wrong, same with the challenge on Cooper but he made no effect on the result of the game. Personally I thought if we had Kerry close in the last 10 we would have them, 10mins left we just scored a peno, Mark Bradley put us level the crowd was roaring and momentum seemed to be swinging our way and fair play to Kerry (like in Donegal) finished off the job with 4 points where Tyrone couldn't.

Clondalkin is trying to take the heat off the dubs game next week where joe mac will be reffing :-)
Also to the Kildare guy I'm pretty sure the goalie has to take kickout off the tee and I'm pretty sure it is a rule.

What's all this rubbish about good sportsmanship ? What good sportsmanship is shown to my county? What good sportsmanship does any team show anyother team? Get over your self man, the last bit of good sportsmanship I remember in football was when Tomás o'sé went up to Stephen cluxton after the 2011 final and gave him the match ball .

Like against Cork, you just see all the small decisions go Kerry's way. The opposition get penalised for the same things Kerry do.

Kerry supporters are so used to getting these decisions, they think people are sore when they mention it.

Similarly, Dublin need to be shot to get a free. As Gavin said during the week, we are just used to it.

For me it was a penalty . Even though Kerry were just about the better side , I felt they got the big calls yet again .

For all the abuse that Tyrone get , it was Kerry yet again who were the aggressors . It's sad really because it never gets highlighted .

Anyway - Kerry are now in a great position . Played poor , had an easy route , relatively injury free and will probably go in as underdogs . Eamon Fitz will be happy .

Kingdom boy .....

We have been on the wrong side of the free count by a huge margin all year, that won't change.

We get screwed, but are used to it.
