Darragh V Tomas - better articles?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I find Darragh's articles full of old yarns and not much analysis. They are funny but not much of an insight into the games. The articles from Tomas are better and are usually fair.

Actually when I think about it there aren't many great gaelic football writers. Obviously I am totally biased but JMcG is normally good and James Horan.

Darraghs piece today just about finalised this debate....

i wonder how Peter Canavan felt about Darragh telling that to a national audience, and if PC have Darragh the go ahead, then he is as bad

Tomas is well ahead. I like his printed work and his tv work just as much

I like Tomas's articles, enjoyable and to the point. As I don't read the Times, can't comment on Darragh's articles. Agree that Eoin Liston writes a load of baloney.

As Tomas always says on Sunday night "it's horses for courses"

I like Tomás and I think he has a way with words but for me all Summer, the most accomplished writer & most astute pundit has been Jim McGuinness. I feel he writes with great honesty and integrity, he gives an objective assessment and his analysis is usually spot-on.
