Barry Owens just misses out because he didn't play for long enough Barry owens played from 2001-14. I would have thought 13 years is plenty for an intercounty career.

How many full years in that span.

He missed a huge amount of football due to injury during his career

Honourable mentions for Keiran McGeeney, Stephen O'Neill and Paul Galvin but it's hard to pick them all. I tried to pick a team of inspirational players who drove their team to success with their talents, many of them winning footballer of the year or playing vital roles in their teams success.

uibhfhaili1986 2010 is the only year i think he missed. He was late coming into the championship in 2008. Sprung off the bench at FF in the semi and final. Got injured in the replay against Armagh. Other than that he played every year in the championship for Fermanagh in that time.

Was he a starter in those years? because I only remember him appearing on and off from around 2007/2008 onwards and often it would be as an impact sub in the full forward line.

Realdub, although DJ Carey won All Irelands in 2000,2002 & 2003,i think he did his best hurling in the 90s.Since this thread was about best team of last 15 years,i went with team above. If it was best hurling team ive ever seen,DJ would be on it.

Same as your 2nd attempt cuederocket with DJ in place of the rough diamond from Waterford, he wouldn't lace Careys boots at any stage!!
